Roundstone House Hotel

The location was great - right on the main street of town. We enjoyed a walk along the water front and onto the piers in the evening. My adult children went for a hike up Errisbeg Mountain right from town and then for a swim in Dog's Bay. Dog's Bay was shallow for a long way out.

Be sure to make a reservation for dinner when you are in town. All the restaurants were booked up that evening so we didn't get the seafood chowder that we were looking forward to.

The breakfast was outstanding, very high standard for 3 star hotel. The owners are hands on and couldn't have been more helpful. I will definitely return and stay at this hotel

I had a lovely stay. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was also lovely.

Stayed two nights travelling for work. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, in particular the owners were extremely hospitable and made me feel very comfortable and welcome during my short visit. Lovely bar downstairs and great views.

Roundstone a lovely remote setting with stunning views from nearby Errisbeg summit….hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful, the room and en-suite very smart and a good size…. The breakfast too was 10/10!! Thank you to all at Roundstone House…..

The hotel is in a prime location. We had a very good view of the water, and it was easy to walk around town. The hotel's restaurant is very good, and parking was convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much and wish that we'd been able to add an additional night. This is a peaceful, relaxing place to stay, and it is super convenient to a lot of scenic locations.

Lovely seaside village location in the heart of Connemara. Our rooms had picturesque sea views and were spacious and clean with extremely comfortable beds, and everything we needed. The restaurant was excellent, and we enjoyed a very good dinner on one evening of our stay, with an emphasis on fresh local seafood. The breakfasts were both fabulous and generous, with loads of choice; freshly baked bread, homemade jams and hot dishes cooked to order. But what we enjoyed most was the warmth and friendliness of the owners and their team, big thanks to Cynthia, Diarmuid, Mary Ellen and Siobhan in the kitchen. We will be back as soon as we can.

Staff were very friendly, set in a beautiful part of the country. I felt hotel was over priced for such a dated property. Our bed was rock hard. Very uncomfortable mattress
