Hotel Marelba

Good location, big car park, quiet, restaurant, balcony.

Garden area neglected. Balcony furniture not appropriate.

Location is beautiful, everything is kept so clean, great breakfast selection, friendly staff, comfortable beds.

The hotel is set 200m back from the sea front bars and restaurants, with rooms overlooking the garden, with shady pine trees. As a result, it was a quiet and pleasant setting. Staff were great - very helpful and friendly, and we spent a very relaxed 5 days in the hotel. We ate out most nights, but the hotel accommodated us in the restaurant one night the weather was not so good, and the food was excellent. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, and would visit again if coming back to Elba.

The staff was really helpful and friendly! They even made early breakfast for us (we had to take early ferry to get to the next place). The room was small but clean and the balcony was perfect for looking at the stars :) The garden was lovely!

Fairly nice hotel and location but NOT a 3star hotel as they claimed. Great breakfast efficiently run but no dinner options despite what was listed. definitely not three star staffing.

The staff are very caring and attentive. The location is excellent, a walk away from the ferry.Breakfast has a good choice, fresh fruit, cereal, croissants and eggs and toast.

Rooms have thin walls.

the staff is simply great and the hotel has a nice outdoor area, where you can chill out after a beach day. unfortunately our bedroom balcony was facing nowhere.

The hotel seems to be stuck in the past where everything is old: bed sheets, curtains, restaurant, decoration, etc…The thing I dislike the most was our bedroom. Please be aware that the bedroom you see on the pictures, not necessarily will be the one assigned to you. our bedroom was clean but old, our balcony which suppose to face a nice garden, looked more like a bunker and was facing the property walls (4 meters apart). I ended up very upset and tried to make a claim to the man at the reception. He told me (in Italian) that the reason to have that room it was simply because the hotel was fully booked and there was no more nice rooms available.Please be aware that the pictures you see on your reservation may not be taken from your bedroom, which is very disappointing.
