Cons -
- Big mix up with us being overcharged when the manager said we hadn't paid and insisted we pay again. Which we did. I found the documents to show we had already paid. They had charged us for someone else's room. No Apology but eventually got our money back the next day. Also due to misleading advertising we understood that the room included breakfast but was told it didn't so had to pay before we left.
- We were told that breakfast wasn’t included at the last minute although we were told it is when checking in
- Happy with everything

Nice breakfast. Charming rooms. Good bathrooms.
Happy with everything
Good breakfast, spacious room
The hotel is located in the old town, not easy to get to by car.The nearby church bells woke us up at 7 am.
Spacious rooms. Free parking on site.
All was good, little expensive, as we were looking for something cheaper for just one night.
Historic building, interesting and quirkyClose to cycle path. Good bike storageFriendly staff
Felt neglectedExpensiveLow quality uncomfy sheetsVulnerable security - needed to open windows on to a shared balcony( because no air con)
The staffs are really friendly. I was really thankful that they patiently waited and allowed us to check-in so late cause we had some trouble in the road. The breakfast is also good and cheap, worth the price for a buffet!
Strategic place in Rio di Pusteria a superb clean town. Friendly staffs at front desk offers buffet bfast at 7 eur per person. The room feels majestic, and has all equipments needed. Will visit again!
Parking garage is quite tight but its freeeee so i love it
Comfortable and large suite. No air conditioning but it’s cooler in the mountains so you don’t need it. The breakfast buffet was generous, delicious and cheap!
Romantic decoration and a perfect unexpected breakfast.
Needs a revamp on communal areas and rooms needs upgrading in their furnitures and an option for a fan or install AC on rooms.
Amazing breakfast and nice staff. The hotel has a private carpark
The castle atmosphere in the room, the very new bathroom and the high cleanliness in the whole place. The staff was also super friendly and breakfast was very tasty.
The pillows could have been bigger / more comfortable, at least for me and the walls are quite thin. We could hear how the the guests next room talk quite clear but it was not a problem for the night since people get generally very early to bed there (mostly hikers or couples enjoying the slow, silent time in the nature) and around 22h it was complete silence.
good luxury room size with nice view outside. Great Breakfast with lot of options.
No lift service available, car parking can be tough if you check in late.
The building is really nice and interesting. The interaction with the staff good and parking was available at the property.
Nice place, kind host, good price-value. Delicious breakfast.
The owner of the hotel was super nice. He made accommodations to pre-prepare breakfast as we had to leave early. the next morning. He was very generous and friendly. The historic nature of the hotel made for a unique experience and despite it's age, the hotel facilities were in excellent condition.
The property had lots of character. Breakfast was included.
No kettle in the room.
Pleasant
When we arrived, someone (who was very polite) told us that there was a breakfast included and gave us the breakfast times. The day after, when we arrived in the breakfast room, our room number was indicated on one of the tables so we had our breakfast, which was not good and really not worth it. Then we went to reception to pay the city tax and surprisingly the host asked us to pay for breakfast. She was super rude when I told her that they weren’t clear about the breakfast situation and that I felt ripped off. She wouldn't listen and didn't even bother to reply. Moreover, the rooms were not clean, very old-fashioned. I definitely don’t recommend this place where people scam you.
-location: close to main road and town center-parking included-very good breakfast-very helpful and friednly owner
-you need to realise that this is historical building, not modern hotel, but for me this was OK?
