Outstanding experience at this hotel. Apartment was spacious, well appointed, and exceptional in every category. Staff was friendly and the excellent breakfast added considerable value to our stay. We would definitely return to this property!

What a beautiful traditional Swiss Inn! The room was well-maintained with lots of little touches to make it comfortable. A nice modern standard bathroom and an unbelievable breakfast made this place feel like a real find, especially considering the price.

Location has great potential. Especially with a train terminal literally across the street. Great view of Lake Thun.

Everything else. Room was totally out dated. Floors bend and squeak while walking. Exposed wiring in the 2nd bedroom. Kitchen out dated. burn marks on the counter. Bathroom out dated. Shower curtain could have been 2 to 3 feet bigger as it did not cover entire tub area and water just got out all over the place. Long hairs on the shower wall. Cracked doors with poor repair jobs.pictures attached show every detail.

Overpriced for what it offers.

Booked the hotel with the idea it would be on the lakeside. Pictures suggested that. However, it is indeed possible to see the lake but there is a busy road and a railway in between. The room had not airco. We opened the windows but the busy road was very noisy. We have been struggling all night with balancing temperature and noise. The shower room is very small. There is nothing around the hotel. No other restaurants, it would take a considerable (in money) taxi ride to go somewhere else. In the end we decide to stay in and used the hotel restaurant. Food was good but nothing special. Breakfast was basic.

Views over the lake were pleasant and only minutes from Interlaken

Because of road construction, the traffic noise was a bit loud up to about 10-1030 at night.

The location was good. We had a nice view of Lake Thun. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly.

It is right by the train station so if windows need to be open at night it can be a bit noisy.

Amazing bed & breakfast, extremely kind staff, and amazing view of lake Thun from our room. In a very quiet town, with easy bus service to Spiez (train station) and Interlaken. Breakfast is fantastic, and even though we had to leave early one morning, the staff still prepared a breakfast to-go and kept it in the fridge for us to take the next morning on our way out. Highly recommend this stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and clean and spacious room.

We found needles near the bed and on the floor, which I found weird and careless. We traveled with a 2 year child, so we found it a bit dangerous to have needles all over the room.

Staff was really good, breakfast was very nice as well and the parking was convenient.

No lift so taking luggage upstairs was a bit difficult and there were no lights in gallery at night.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, always with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

I put the do not disturb sign up and the staff entered my room anyway, they provide room service (cleaned, replenished towels etc) but I preferred they respected my wishes

The hotel was excellent...we had an excellent room with 2 king sized beds and a very accessible and fully equipped kitchen. The building had a quite nice, and traditional Swiss look. Our breakfast at this hotel was excellent, and Mudasir (the hotel manager) was very proficient with serving and providing all our needs for breakfastThe location of this hotel is quite well placed, as there is very little noise from the street, and Interlaken is just 10 minutes by car from there. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a decent, and spacious room with the extra advantage of a kitchen.

Good location for different day trips in the area. Clean apartment, friendly welcome and a nice breakfast in the morning. The apartment is a nice bonus when you spend a few days as you do have the hotel facilities

Clean and practical rooms with a view of Lake Thun, Modaser is a lovely host, breakfast was plenty and well served. The bus stop- Leissegen Bahnoff is put up right outside the hotel : bus 60 to and from Spiez station is free with the guest card, super convenient to travel across Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald.
