EVOLUTION Cascais-Estoril Hotel

- it is a new hotel with a great spa and gym area - sea view - bed is comfortable - selection of wine glasses in the room

-the open bathroom and the " no door" situation for the toilet -staff was behaving like they work in a Starbucks instead of a 4 Star hotel -no cake or any type of attention for my partner's birthday -noisy road directly in front of the hotel

This is a beautiful hotel with really nice little extras like slippers and robes in the room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was always clean and fresh towels everyday.

As a new hotel there were some issues such as the indoor pool being closed for maintenance, elevators not working, doors not working. Even the door to the stairwell had a lock on it so if there was an emergency you wouldnt be able to get out.

The location is great, beautiful view from the rooftop, staff very friendly, hotel good looking , room comfortable and modern.

I think the rooftop bar should stay open later instead of the main lobby bar

Comfortable room, excellent facilities, panoramic view from the roof terrace. Breakfast exceeded expectations.

For a longer stay, the rooms could be somewhat larger offering proper space for some chairs, however for a short stay like ours, this was no issue.

Noisy when having parties

Location, very clean, rooms were comfortable.

The elevator system because we were a family of 9 and we were all on different floors, since the key only brings you to your floor we could not go to the other rooms when we needed to.

The rooftop pool, spa and decor of the hotel was lovely. The employees of the hotel were extremely professional and helpful especially the front desk.

Location & general upkeep.Breakfast is brilliant.

Reception staff were unhelpful & not always respectful.

Food and drinks are overpriced. Not enough seating by the pool.

Staff was kind an helpful. Rooms are clean, spacious and well put together. Amenities such as the spa, gym and pool are excellent!! Overall atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming, but still feels exclusive.

Children in the spa making noise and disrupting the otherwise calm and serene atmosphere. Road noise is somewhat bothersome at times.

I loved the spa area except the hydrotherapy pool was not working.

The hotel facilitates is good , the cleanness and the comfort is great...the vlaue is great...

The roof staff and the bags staff are not very professional and they are not trained in a good way..I had three incidents due to staff unprofessionalisim ...The lobby AC doesn't function very well

Good location, nice pool with a view, the food was actually quite good.

Five star price, three star experience. This hotel is “do it yourself” - monitors for self check-in (although someone helped us check in), no valet, no help with luggage. Severely understaffed. The staff were nice and polite, but no one seemed to be in charge. Spa staff was great and our treatment was lovely. Hotel is only 2 years old but it isn’t being properly maintained and that wear and tear is showing - for example there is a lot of damage to the ceiling in the spa pool, things feel generally not as clean or as fresh as they should. I don’t regret going but I don’t think it was worth the money and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything went well. From being picked up at the airport to meeting Rita at the front desk. Being a solo traveler everyone made me feel at home and extremely helpful. The breakfast was fantastic as was dinner on the 7th floor over looking the Atlantic. Just perfect.

Not really a restaurant on the roof, pool was being worked on. Not that easy to get to Cascais.

The had one of the best room on the 5 floor. With panorama view and a big balcony + day bed outside. The view was amazing. Cleaning was very good every day. Every staff were very nice and helpful all the time. Really nice people! This is really a very nice hotel with almost everything and you really feel good. The spa is amazing. The food on the roof was amazing. Breakfast amazing. What can I say. We had a great time!

The bathroom was too open. Was a little bit difficult to have privacy, but it worked. It’s a fancy bathroom though.

The design is really really nice , the service from the lobby to roof bar, then wellness spa is excellent.

the cleaning ( lobby, lift button) and room make up could be better. Most Staff are very nice and professional, but there is a waitress( not very good English speaking) who worked on Easter Monday. She cleaned our table in a rush right after our kids left( even she didn’t ask if we need the food from kids’ plates, a big waste!) and put on all clean cutleries and plates on our table for the next round while my husband and I were still enjoying our coffee and fruits. It‘s a very loud working style and seemed like that she pushed to leave as soon as possible. It was not busy breakfast in the restaurant but I got stressed
