My room's window was on the road side, and since there is no A/C, I Had to keep the window open, this brought all the outside noise in the room.Make sure to choose a room facing the other side ?

Comfortable room, friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Had dinner at the restaurant which was also very delicious!

The breakfast spread was decent enough. Location and car parking are good.

Charging extra cost for a child cot is too bad. Already the room was overpriced in my experience of staying at several places and on top of this additional charge. Charging a city tax / spa tax is fine, but it should come with some benefits like public transport usage, discounts. Without that, it is more of a daylight robbery

The location is perfect if you want to visit Herenchiemsee Palace - which was the reason I stayed here - so that I could visit the palace the next day. It's just yards away from the pier where you take the boat to the island. While here I ate dinner at the restaurant & was very pleased with the food & service. The room was nice, breakfast was good, and there was parking on site, which made this the prefect choice.

Hotel restaurant is closed on Tuesday, I didn't know that, but last time when I was here, I eat very well.

The food in the restaurant was tasty - I had the vegetarian yellow curry, which I would recommend, and the breakfast was good the next morning.The (deluxe?) single room I had was comfortable with a good view - it just wasn't the double room I had booked and been charged for.TIP - if you are travelling by train and need a taxi, book it before you arrive. I had to walk to the hotel in the snow with my case.

The attitude with which I was informed that I was getting a single room rather than the double I had booked. The attitude was that it had a bed that was bigger than a normal single (which it was), so that would be fine, and they didn't have any double rooms anyway.

Clean, modern room, comfortable setup. Perfect heating. Good restaurant downstairs.

perfect location to go to Herrenchiemsee and Fraueninsel. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast. The hotel was busy but quiet. Staff was welcoming and helpful, especially at the front desk. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, practical sitting area.

the only very minor thing was the shower door not shutting completely.
