Pros +
- The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
- Location, quality of architecture, cleanliness, very cordial and friendly and respectful staff.
- Nice property but for R70 000 i didnt have a shower. The staff just said sorry but the previous guests broke the shower ….
Cons -
- The entrance to the stairs that led to the room opened onto a narrow, busy street so you had to be careful when you exited.
- Nothing. Although expensive it was well worth it and no more expensive than comparable hotels.

It was very well located, views from the balcony were really nice. Breakfast is really good.
It was really expensive for what they offer (usd 1,000 per night). They couldn’t even do early check in when we arrived just 15 minutes earlier. The staff of the restaurant in the hotel was really lazy. As we arrived 15 minutes earlier and they didn’t let us do early check in, we had some drinks there. The waiters didn’t even look at us, we nearly had to shout to them for attention, they were just talking. The room and the bathroom were ok, but it wasn’t a usd 1000 per night hotel. We’ve been travelling in Italy for a month and this was the most expensive hotel and one of the worse in terms of what they offer. The hotel has no amenities and no common areas. Reception is tiny, there is only one elevator and it takes time until it arrives.
Very helpful staff couldn’t have done enough for us! Balcony views were bliss! And breakfast was really really good!
Beautiful view great location awesome staff
Nothing it was awesome
The view was spectacular! The food but most importantly the staff was very hospitable, professional and so warm! They made the process so smoothly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Positano was unforgettable!
The restaurant was very good.
The Bedroom was spacious but we found smell of mold in the room. Bathtub was getting wet all the time and the sink has few space for belongings. Staff also did not change the towels.
The location was great with a nice view of the Positano. Honestly it was the only thing worth it.
Small narrow room. We have booked for a superior room with a view which was actual much smaller than what was shown on the website. The reviews before attending the hotel created higher expectations than what we actually encountered. Definitely not value for money. I would say it is like a 2 - 3 star hotel.
Perfect location and very friendly staff
The power went out across the island for 4hrs but still made the best out the situation
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very spacious and clean. A quiet respite from the very busy city below. `
The hotel is somewhat hard to find; there is a keycode entry on the outside. Calling in is difficult due to loud street noise. The door access to the hotel is very small and hard to carry luggage through. The elevator also very small and requires coins to operate. Good news is there are stairs very accessible.
View from room and the location of hotel was excellent! Room was large enough and loved the "homey" feel of the hotel.
great hotel, we where upgraded to an amazing suite. the staff was amazing and the restaurant down was perfect!
Fantastic view, centrally located,the staff
Low room ceiling, no cabinet space
Best breakfast in Positano. Really good staff very helpful & professional especially Jade at check in and our waiter on breakfast.
Nothing to dislike the price is OK in comparison to others in the area.
Everything was perfect. The view, the room, the very friendly staff members and the delicious breakfast.
There’s nothing not to like, but in Positano you have to be prepared for walking up and down a lot of stairs. It’s also difficult and expensive to park a car there.
Exceptional. Clean and cozy. Staff was super nice and helpful. Especially giade
Not having a smart tv.
Beautiful hotel and great location. Very clean staff were excellent
I just loved the view from my room. Everything was good. It was a perfect cozy space for two of us!! And it was a little ahead of the restaurants and the beach but that was just perfect as no rush and no hush. The hotel staff was very good in suggesting us good places to eat and all!!
Nothing that I can think of.
We stayed in the deluxe annex with see view and a small balcony. The room was comfortable and spacious and also well equipped.
It’s a bit of a walk to the center. Be prepared to walk a lot of stairs. The bathroom didn’t have a space to put your cosmetic or a big mirror.
