Staff was great, hotel easy to get to my car. View from my room and balcony breathtaking .

I really like the hotel room and its location. The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room view is absolutely beautiful. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Best of the best in Positano any time of year. Owner John and staff make you feel like royalty and family all at the same time. The location is perfect. Rooms overlook the harbor. Just a short walk to the steps to the beach. The onsite restaurant should have a Michelin star ?

It would be nice to have a place to sit in the room. A couple of soft chairs to relax without sitting on the bed. The view was nice but the balcony was very public being on the bottom floor.

This was my second stay here. Great friendly family run hotel. The staff are amazing, very helpful and accommodating. They have done an amazing job of setting up a fine dining restaurant with fantastic food. The location is perfect with the best views overlooking Positano and only a short walk down the the beach and shops. Also very close to some of the nicer restaurants and bars in Positano.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our outdoor private terrace. The staff were all very kind and took good care of us. Breakfast service was great, with creative latte art that we enjoyed.

Dinner was expensive at the property but we did receive a discount and the food was extremely delicious, for a special occasion I didn’t mind the price.

The view from Albergo Positano was stunning. We loved having breakfast on that balcony every morning before exploring the area. I actually proposed to my girlfriend on the balcony, that's how nice it was. Rooms were really nice. Very spacious, comfy bed, cute little balcony and an amazing bathroom - best from this trip so far. The people were great as well, they gave us a bottle of wine when we checked in and always took care of us.

The wifi was shocking. Definitely not the place to stay if you also need to get some work done.

Everything was exceptional; the attentiveness and kindness of all of the staff. The hotel was impeccably clean, gorgeous clean white linens, beautiful, up to date room. The view was probably the best in Positano. The food at Don Giovanni's was extraordinary! I cannot wait to stay at Albergo California again and again. What a beautiful memory ♥️ thank you to everyone who was always so kind. Gratzie!

Great location with view.

There was slight flooding in our bathroom when the shower was on but they were able to fix it quickly. The bedding, blanket and pillows felt old and cheap.

Wow! Absolutely amazing hotel. Stunning views. The rooms are beautiful, very clean, large, and have private balconies with gorgeous views. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great. Loved staying here and absolutely would stay here again!

It has excellent location, best view, easily walk to beach and friendly staff.Our room is newly renovated and very comfortable.

Staying here was a dream! Beautiful hotel and our room was perfect with the most amazing views! The staff was super helpful and friendly! Breakfast was great and had a nice view from there, too! Location perfect and was able to walk everywhere within minutes. Would recommend this place to everyone and would stay here again!

Nothing not to like

The views from the rooms above the ground floor of Positano and the seaside are breathtaking! John, the owner, was immensely helpful and cheerful. The restaurant housed on the first floor is an epicurean’s delight. Parking is available for a surcharge right beneath the hotel.

There is somewhat limited wifi service and no room service.

The view is incredible and the staff were engaging, hospitable, available, and friendly. A really lovely experience. Breakfast was great, check in easy and informative, location unbeatable. Despite being on the main street, it was quiet.

Location

Parking fees are expensive and they don’t take care of the car. My car was dented when they delivered it to me.

Great location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Included breakfast made mornings easy. Room was spacious and welcome bottle of wine was appreciated

There was a floor above our room and people walking around and moving chairs on tile floors could be loud. If that bothers you to sleep, just know that which floor you are on could make a difference.

The location was perfect and the crew their vary friendly and plesant and always willing to assist! ?

In general the room was clean enought however some details need to be developed ☺️
