- The View of Positano
- Nice location
- Beautiful views. Positano.
Cons -
- I understand being in a different country, we cannot expect everyone to speak English. However, in a popular tourist town where there are huge numbers of Englsh speaking guests, you would think they need someone on staff who spoke English well.
- Bad mattress, low water pressure, $220 to park our car for 2 days.
- There is a Whirlpool on very photo. Which they close at the end of September without mentioning it. The amalfy coast main street just below is very busy, even during low season

The property of the Palazzo Marzoli itself was well kept and larger than expected. The rooms were surprisingly large and full of charm. This location is also in walking distance of some of the best restaurants and cafes in the area.
I loved how the room itself look and it came with breakfast. The views were very nice at night and morning.
They didn’t speak English it was 6 of us and 3 rooms they walked us up one group at a time to the room took entirely too long to check in! Then they didn’t show how to use the elevator! There also was a ton of ants in the bathroom that I came home to America with some ants!
Palazzo Marzolli change the reservation to the La Caravella di Positano, one of their property partners, which was an outstanding lucky upgrade! The room had a fantastic view to the Positano houses built on the side of the mountain and a view to the main beach. The location was just a short walk from the pier. The best room that I stayed in my Italy trip!
Clean property that is severely over priced.
The staff there is very rude and their air conditioning just does not work. We were very uncomfortable with a young child with the temperature control in the room. Overall made for a very negative experience ?
Very nice view
Very far from center, parking was 80€ per day at the property!
disaapointed
for a 4 star property which charged us 1100$ per night it was definitely not worth it1. the breakfast is abs bare minimum, no restaurant so you are stuck to your room2. no lobby/lounge area for a 4 star you expect it to be a better facility3. staff needs better training we were 4 people and first day there was no blanket/sheet put out for the 2nd room and it came after multiple requests4. bathroom had no shampoo/lotions and we had to ask for it5. cleaning stafff is not well trained at all, with a do not distrub sign the guy walked inthis is not a 4 star property felt cheated and will be careful in using booking.com in future, never experienced the same with expedia
The host Signora and her team are amazing. Everything was superb from our arrival to departure. Our stay here exceeded all expectations and really made our first time on the Amalfi Coast special.Nothing is too much bother. From the car transfer to and from Positano center to help and advice for tours. Our room was beautiful and very clean, with a lovely private terrace and amazing view of the Mediterranean.Thank you again to Signora and the staff. I would also like to thank you Mario who was very helpful and made our three days stayed in Positano very enjoyable.I would certainly stay again when I come back to Positano!
The hotel was so perfect for our one night in Positano. The view is incredible, the staff are very friendly and we love that breakfast is brought to your room every morning. It is a lot of stairs up and down to the sea front so I would recommend getting help with your bags but the hotel is great
Clean and comfortable room overlooking the sea and the town.
the view from your terrace, the staff were nice
they state parking is available at a cost, the cost is $80 a day for us probably more in July/August. Our room was not completely cleaned the bathroom had hair everywhere and you could see the taps, bathtub faucets were not even wiped down.
location Great rooms with spacious terrace friendly staff
for this price the breakfast could be more elaborate…front desk could be more creative when questions being asked
Very clean and nice hotel
Hilltop location, very basic breakfast and sadly extortionate rate to park in the hotel garage €90 for one night
Good location
It was mentioned that the only fire exit door was broken, I raised this as it was the only exit out of the building in the event of fire and nothing was done about it. The only other option was a lift.
I highly recommend. The property and the view are fantastic, but to top it off, the staff are incredible as well. We had a change of plans and they were able to accommodate us when they certainly did not need to do so. We greatly appreciate that and will be staying here next year when we come again with a group.
nothing. perfect for us.
Location is great as it is close to the bus station
We paid extra for a room with Jacuzzi but the jacuzzi throughout the hotel weren’t working. The breakfast was also included in the price but was very disappointing. The portion sizes were very small and the food was bad. It was also brought to the room 1hr before the scheduled time in the morning.
We certainly liked the view from the balcony. We also appreciated the spacious bedroom and bathroom.
I'm afraid the place is nothing but a money pit. They charged us an exuberant €60 for parking per day. The Lady begged us to stay a second night, and we had to plea with her to only charge us €40 for parking on the second day! Language was also a problem, and when I asked for 2 coffee sachets for the room, they brought us 2 cups of coffee and then charged us €40 when checking out!. Also the free breakfast is very poor and regular breakfast was available for a hefty cost...all because they bring to your room because there is no restaurant! I'm sorry, the place is quite nice but they make you pay dearly for it!!
We were greeted at the door literally steps from the bus from Sorento. The room we were given was perfect. Incredible view, tons of room. The free breakfast, brought to our room by a woman with the kind of energy you want to be greeted with in the am, was more than enough to give you what you needed to get out and start exploring. I loved being away from the crowds that are closer to the beach. The local shuttle ran regularly, again STEPS from the hotel. We would walk down to experience Positano stairs then shuttle back. Less than 2 euro per trip tickets avaiable at most convience stores. Another plus was the best restaurant we experienced * Ristorante Pizzeria C'era Una Volta* sadly on our last night or we would have been regulars. 80 m from the hotel. Little store on the right has all the basics you need. Wine, fruit, coke zero. The views from the top are amazing, loved watching the traffic, loved walking down the stairs to the tourist area. This was a score. Don't hesitate booking this one.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Love the people, the location, the view. Everything.
