    Pros +

    • Nice breakfast. Very friendly staff.
    • The room was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were all incredible. We had an amazing view from our balcony. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our honeymoon!
    • Beautiful room and view, and a truly wonderful breakfast. The staff were also very kind and helpful.

    Cons -

    • 108 steps up to the lobby, but that's life in Positano!
    • No full length mirror in our room and the bathroom lighting was not good for doing makeup.
    • It’s really hard to find (tight streets and lots of stairs to haul your luggage up), and the check-in system is weird — you have to contact another property to let them know you’ve arrived and are ready to check

Hotel stuff met us at the requested hour, helped us with parking and luggage. Stuff was friendly, polite and helpful. We felt welcomed. The room was huge, the bathtub was gorgeous. The terrace and the view was spectacular. It was a pity we came very late and had only a few morning hours to enjoy the view, but the sunrise was very beautiful. Breakfast was at a near by hotel's terrace, we enjoyed walking up the hill a bit. The breakfast was with a stunning view, it was tasty, variety of food was vast, coffee was good. It was a best way we could imagine to start a day. The hotel is not far from the center and main beach, just 15 min walk down the hill. You can return to hotel with a bus, if climbing up the hill is not your preference.

    We enjoyed everything, thank you!

    Location and views

Very hard to find, needs more signage on the way up and better directions. Shower’s water pressure was low. Breakfast was very average.

Unmatched, beautiful views from the sundeck, restaurant, and family hotel room. Amazing service from the Conca restaurant staff during breakfast, and the breakfast is fantastic - the best out of all the hotels we went to during our Italy and France trip. A bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but it only took about 10 min to walk to it, and you can go straight down the stairs to Fornillo Beach in 5 min and then walk along the water to get to the ferry port and main part of Positano, which was easy to navigate. Our room was gorgeous and straight out of an Italian movie. Lovely plush robes, many towels given, and extremely clean. We enjoyed the lounge chairs and pool from the roof sundeck twice and had delicious room service for lunch once. When our pre-paid car to the airport didn't show up, they helped in ordering us a new one ASAP. We had a bad hotel experience in Ischia and wished we had come over earlier to this hotel!

    Nothing! Such a great experience.

    The view

A lot of stairs, but we got a taxi and porter, so that was great!

Great view. But you must know that you will go up millions of steps. Don’t take heavy luggage. Nice building. Breakfast in another building.

Friendly staff. Breakfast served outside with beautiful view from terrace.Great cleaning.

Room smaller than expected. Quite a few steps to locate hotel. I might of turned down wrong road not sure. I had to call hotel for assistance and they were lovely! Great exercise on the legs. Breakfast in nearby building - view lovely and eggs.

Really clean and charming room, the breakfast was amazing and very plentiful. It was served at la bizantine another hotel owned by the family. Hotel is well located on the west side of town with no road noise, between the top and bottom of town so nothing is too fare. Seeing Positano in March was amazing. The staff is also very nice and helpful.

The second room didn’t have any windows.

Staff was awesome, even given off season!! Parked at recommended parking facility unafiliated with room. They were helpful at connecting us with staff at the Hotel. They assisted with luggage. They dept our vehicle and items left in the car secure!! The breakfast was cooded and served by the hostess as she was excellent!! the view and location were beautiful!! We will return, for sure!!

A bit of construction close by but that is to be expected during off season. The workers were very conscience.

The view is amazing and the breakfast is outstanding. The location is quite convenient and the personel is always willing to help.

The place is really nice with good breakfest given in a sister hotel La Bizantina 10 min walk.

The location as shown in Booking is wrong. It was shown that the place is on a road far from the built area. In addition, we did not get any direction before arriving and headed to the location mentioned in the application. Only after calling them we got directions and someone assistd us finding the place. So getting there was complicated. Please correct the map and please send arrival instruction to guests, in advance.

The staff were exceptional in their level of service. We were a little lost in finding the hotel, due to Google Maps. But staff came out and found us on the narrrow paths around Positiano. So thank you.

    Absolutely nothing

    10RavinduPosted on: 12-21-2024

loved the place, views were amazing and the staff was friendly and spoke English fluently.

    5murtadhaPosted on: 11-20-2024

breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful location. The staff assisted with luggage upon arrival but not during departure.

I booked the villa for its view of a mountain positano, but unfortunately, I was given a disappointing and poor view that does not reflect the beauty of the positano. The villa’s location was not the same as advertised. Additionally, the water bottle in the villa was not complimentary. Reaching the apartment was difficult due to the many stairs.

Our room with balcony was excellent. We didn’t sleep the first night because we were very cold. We managed to get blankets the next day. We loved the breakfasts at a neighbouring hotel. Be prepared for stairs and back street adventures.

I thought we were booking a hotel with staff. There are no staff here and the arrangements for check in and out are all very poorly explained. We booked in at one hotel, found it by accident. They closed the next day though. Then our new arrangements were with the hotel where we had breakfast. Nothing is ever well explained, you find things out in a haphazard fashion but the staff are all very friendly and lovely.

Nice location, good breakfast, friendly staff.

Especially the bathroom was quite outdated. We are not tall or big in any way, but had problems with space in the shower. The main turn off with this hotel was the advice to park at their EUR 60 daily rate at the Fratelli Milano parking spot. This is just outrageous price, even for Positano. The following day we asked reference proce elsewhere and renegotiated our daily price to EUR 40. Understand places like Positano are full of pickpockets and other parking bandits, however our hotel should be on our side and not part of the same corruption. These incidents always make me wonder what else we might have missed.

Location was amazing! So close to parking garage but off the beaten path. Views from hotel were superb and the breakfast was delicious.
