Hotel Conchiglia

The staff at Hotel Conchiglia was very nice. I believe it is family owned and all were friendly. The checkin was good. There was a little misunderstanding with the booking. When I booked this room, I filtered by properties with washing machine and free parking but neither was available. I had to pay for parking across the street which wasn't too bad as it was not tourist season and spaces were available. The host helped me decode the confusing parking system and carried my suitcase upstairs to my room.The room itself was a bit small and humid. The AC did not work, even after I asked him to set it to ac mode. Opening the windows was not an option as there were a lot of mosquitos about and I was getting eaten alive. I apparently did not book the breakfast so I cannot comment on the offering.

The TV in the room was not a smart TV so only italian channels were available. As I mentioned the room was small, but so was the bed. It was wide enough but short and a bit uncomfortable, which didn't do my back much good.

Location, staff, food and room was amazing ?

The property was really cute and right in the heart of the town and near the water. It was perfect. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast provided was really good with a lot of options. I would highly recommend for the price

Locarion, good breakfast, hospitality, very clean hotel

Loved staying here. Wish it was for longer. A third generation family run hotel with wonderful service from the owner/ manager.It was clean and comfortable in a great location only a stones throw from the water. We were able to park the car only a few meters away from the hotel entrance.Porto Ercole is a very cool little town that we would liked to have explored more.

We had an amazing stay at hotel Conchiglia for 4 nights. The room and hotel was quaint and light and airy just as it should be at the beach. Great location right in the town, one block to the harbor and many little shops around. The owner was so friendly, helpful, and made our stay extra special. You can rent e-bikes right from the hotel for the whole day. Breakfast was better than expected. Our whole stay was wonderful. We can’t wait to come back.

It was such a fantastic place to stay! The staff were incredible and the breakfast to die for! We didn’t need lunch on any day because we ate so much at breakfast! A really homely vibe with all the amenities of a hotel.

No laundry facilities (and the laundromat near by wanted to charge €70 for a load of clothes ?

Very nice hotel in porto d'Ercole. Very comfortable room, nice bathroom and good wi-fi. I didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that, but they also had very nice tables outside.

Great location near the seafront, helpful and kind staff and very simply but tastefully decorated. Good breakfast too.We had a room with a terrace. It is worth paying the supplement as it gives you extra space and somewhere to dry swimming things

The view from the terrace was rather dull but it really wasn't a problem

Super friendly and helpful staff and cosy location. Easy to park nearby, close to the marina, and to get around the the island by car. Breakfast was delicious, and our stay was all in all good value for money. Would like to have stayed longer!

A gorgeous family run property in a lovely spot just around from the prettiest little harbour. Amazing value for money. The host makes you feel at home immediately. The hotel room and bathroom were immaculate and a great size. Reception had drinks for sale and there is a mini bar in the room. Breakfast was fab, the lady supervising was warm and welcoming. Parking was right outside. The village itself has lovely looking bars and restaurants, the two places we frequented offered great drinks with tasty food alongside. The little harbour front seafood spot was delicious.

Nothing, it was a great spot to stop between Cinque Terre and Rome.

Lovely little hotel in the harbor, close to several very nice beaches by bus or car. Rooms are modern, clean, very nice bathroom and an outdoor patio which is very nice for relaxing or hanging wet beach clothes. Very good location between several beach options and dinner options. Reception was very helpful with directions to the beaches and pointed out the best beaches. Lots of shopping nearby, small beach boutiques. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with many options and very good.

Nothing- it was perfect

Great location - very convenient to the seaside promenade (1 block away - although hotel does not have views), lovely courtyard for breakfast outdoors, our room had a nice terrace, room was simple and comfortable, great lighting in the bathroom (a rare thing!) and shower had great water pressure and temp. Nice breakfast. Francesco at reception who manages the hotel is really lovely and very helpful. A couple parking spaces in front were available which was super convenient (and another rare thing). Several good restaurants very nearby. We were there in mid Oct, off season, so the town was very, very quiet (explains why parking was available!) but peaceful and we enjoyed it very much. Easy to take some fun day trips to towns nearby.

What’s not too like? Only comment here would be a caution about noise levels - rooms aren’t especially insulated and a loud neighbor could be a bit annoying. But it was one night only.
