- The 10 reasons why I have given this resort a score of 10:1. Excellent cleanliness2. Friendly staff with a very high level of service at the reception, in the restaurant and in the bars, especially the 2 lovely ladies who care for our room to always be amazingly clean3. Activities for children - the wonderful kids club staff and the disco every evening which was the highlight of the day4. The clean pools, the clear water, there was always a place to sit by the pool5. The bar that allows light and not so light drinks all day - the location of the bars is close to the pool and the sea6. The sea!!! Clear and quiet, full of sun loungers, no problem finding a place to sunbathe on the beach7. The food is more than adequate for a hotel restaurant, a huge selection including a corner for food specially designed for children8. The hotel shop has everything you need if you happen to forget something at home9. The weather in Khalkidhiki - a huge bonus. Not too hot and dry, no sweating10. Overall it was wonderful

Room, wifi, food, facilities.
Waves most od the time, rocks in the water, empty beach full of towels
We liked everything, the hotel, the food, the staff, the price, all of was well worth the money we paid so we were very satisfied. I was especially impressed with the manager, a gentleman whom I saw every day, roaming the grounds, inspecting everything and making sure it was up to his standards which are very high indeed. I don't know how much the owners are paying their manager, but he is worth every penny and more.
There was absolutely nothing we had a problem with, the resort is perfect. Maybe they could rent out jet skiis or something closer to the hotel, but I don't know how practical that would be for them.
Everything was perfect! We stayed for a week with family and took the all-inclusive option, which was a big win. All three meals were delicious with plenty of variety, and both soft and alcoholic drinks were excellent. The pool and beach bars were open all day with unlimited drinks and snacks. Rooms were spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels and a restocked minibar. The beach was simply fantastic—soft sand, crystal-clear water, and very relaxing. There were also many activities for kids (pools, playgrounds, and more), but our favorite was definitely the beach. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable.
Honestly, nothing negative to mention.
The food was decent , the beach is nice , Alcohol was also decent quality . Swimming pool is not huge but big enough and the hotel in general is pleasant and service is decent . Kids club for kids up to 10 years old is nice and it work until 11PM which was good and the kids team was sweet . Gym was also not bad at all .
First , the hotel is not updated , when I pay such an expensive price per night all facilities should be nicer . Small example , food was decent but the presentation was not brilliant , Bar drinks are nice but a nice bar in the middle of the swimming pool or right on top of it could make all the difference and about the swimming pool In general life guards in the swimming pool have too many rules which takes out a lot of the fun . So , I have not much bad things to say about the hotel and stuff was really nice and everything was decent . However , for such a payment per night I would definitely expect higher standard of hotel and it was a bit of disappointment.
Everything is so organized and the staff were super polite.
Our room was located near an elevator and the noise was annoying at night.
The property has its own private sandy beach, which is cleaned regularly by the employees. The sea entering is perfect and after a portion of deeper water, there’s another good 10-15 meters of 1.5m or some water depth. The hotel has multiple buildings, all with plenty of gardens. There were enough sun beds, both at the pool and at the beach. The beach does not have a lifeguard, there’s only one at the pool. The umbrellas are free of charge and plenty. There are some bigger sun beds that do cost, 75 Euros per day, but not many. Each night there were activities for kids, like a kids disco with animators. Some nights there was live music. The mini bar in the room was free and replenished daily. The room was very clean and spacious, also cleaned daily. There is also a store on the properly in case you want to buy souvenirs, cosmetics or inflatables for kids. They also have a winery and there you can book a wine tasting. The food was amazing! It can be called diverse and delicious from a picky eater perspective. There were many fruit varieties, honeycombs fillet with honey, Greek specialities, lots of seafood and fish but also common things such as pasta, pancakes, waffles and french fries. Many sweets, new each day. The cocktails were diverse and tasty and the beer tap never ran out. The staff were very nice, kind and very fast and they helped us with anything we needed, including carrying the luggage. There was enough parking space and I think they can also offer a shuttle for those who come by plane. We really had a lovely stay.
We liked everything, the hotel itself, the hospitality of the employees, the restaurants, the bar next to the restaurants, and the beach. We stayed at the hotel with our 10-month-old baby in the middle of June. All the employees were so kind to him. Sia, the restaurant manager, made an enormous effort to prepare food for him at every meal. She did a great job.Zoi also did her job professionally, always with a smile on her face. The food was excellent, as were all the beverages and the espresso at the beach bar. The bartenders at the beach bar were kind and always did their job with a smile. Many thanks to Alex, Vladimiros, Efrem, Thomas, and Nina. The hotel is located right on a sandy beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas available free of charge.
I think there is nothing we didn’t like.
Just brilliant. Easily the best family hotel in the area. Kind staff, super clean, great facilities and activities for kids, great private beach, many quality food choices. Neatly maintained and extraordinary hygiene all around. Our 2nd year here in a row, and we are already thinking of coming back.
I spent 7 unforgettable days at Potidea Palace in June, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning — beautifully maintained, clean, and set in an idyllic location. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the warm, professional, and dedicated staff.A special thank you to Athina, who was incredibly kind and helpful in the restaurant. Her attentiveness and genuine smile made each meal even more enjoyable.I also want to sincerely highlight the Albanian staff working at the resort. Their professionalism, kindness, and work ethic stood out every single day. They are incredibly hardworking and played a big part in making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. It’s clear they take great pride in their work, and it shows in everything they do.I highly recommend Potidea Palace to anyone looking for a high-quality and stress-free holiday in Greece. I will definitely return!
Mosquitos!
We really enjoyed our time at Potidea Palace Hotel. The hotel is clean, the pool area and the beach are amazing, and the rooms are comfortable. The food was delicious and had a lot of variety. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Would definitely come back!
Great place, clean, amazing hardworking collective. You have everything there. The things that they clean around facility daily is unbelivable.
There were two huge groups on team buiding for few days and in those days place didnt look like family hotel. But I understand thats busniss.
We stayed for 1 week at this all inclusive resort. What we liked most:- The staff was friendly and welcoming. However, many of them spoke very little English so it was sometimes hard to communicate. - We booked a Suite and it was really spacious.- The beds were comfortable.- They had great facilities for babies/kids (bottle sterilizer, high chair, bottle warmer etc.)
I would not stay at this hotel again, because:- The location is not great. You can't go anywhere besides the resort, because there is nothing in the area to do or to see (unless you travel 50 min. to Thessaloniki).- It was extremely noisy! When the hotel next door was doing an evening show/entertainment you could hear it loud and clear from our room. We had windows closed and even earplugs, but the music and singing was so loud that we were trembling in our beds. I went to complain at the reception twice, and they did not offer any solution besides 'we can't do anything, it's the hotel next door'. We like to go to bed early because our baby wakes up early, but it was impossible. We had to wait until the show was over to go to bed.- The kids playground was very dirty and could really use a renovation. The kids pool was out of order, the floor was all torn. Nobody ever cleaned the kids playground. - There was a leakage in our bathroom which resulted in a pool of brown, moldy, dirty water next to shower all the time. It even had little worms swimming in it. Very disgusting. The hotel advertises themselves as an 'Ultra' all-inclusive resort, but they overpromised and underdelivered. The quality of the resort was mediocre, the food was simple, salty and dry, there was nothing 'ultra' about their concept. In addition, they asked for additional fees for a lot of extra's like using the cabana on the beach or playing pool.
Loved everything about Nea Potidea palace, the food was exceptional the room the family friendly environment, the beautiful pool
I really liked that it was very clean. The staff is very polite, attentive and hardworking. The facilities are convenient for families with children and are maintained well. The food was good and diverse.
Beach is not as sandy as I thought looking at the photos in Booking.Small suggestions for imrovements:-at least 1 free a la carte restaurant booking to be included per stay (as is in most AI hotels we've visited)-some real afternoon snacks to be provided in the restaurant and not just what is left from lunch-liquid soap in bathrooms-small hangers on the beach umbrellas and in the common bathrooms where you can hang your bag, clothes, etc.
Great location, friendly staff, excellent food! Our room was extremely comfortable and all hotel amenities were convenient. We enjoyed the entertainment program - the animation team was always well-prepared and fun to hang around with. We had an awesome time overall, will definitely go back again!
Just wonderful. Great facilities, very helpful and polite staff - from cleaning ladies to bar staff, big variety and quality of food options just to name a few outstanding impressions. Very nice complex, exceptionally maintained. Felt like everywhere was very clean. Lovely private beach with a Blue Flag and scenic pool area were also very appreciated. Also, our kid very much liked the evening program, thumbs up for the animation crew & the visiting bands! Would definitely consider revisiting sometimes!
Shared spaces sometimes felt a little too small and crowded, like pool area and the restaurant. But it is what it is, it was just a tiny nuisance from time to time.
Staff kidness and cleaned rooms
Very uncofortable bedsRepetitve food for all mealsSugar drinks and self service for such a high priceSnack is actually just lunch leftovers?!
