Minos Hotel

First off all the staff and representatives were very kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are very good with a variety of ingredients and choices. The kids pool was clean, the room was good enough for 2 parents and 1 child.

Room service wasn't every day.

Awsum Location / beautifully newly built apartments and so spacious. Fantastic amenities, beautiful airy spacious common areas. Fantastic location directly opposite the main beach.

Pool closing at 6pm - didn’t really bother me that much but would have been good as an option.We used the app for the login / check in details but after that nothing - would be great if the app could be used for keeping residents updated for happenings for evenings etc - just a waste considering the time taken to download it etc

What I did like the most was the people and the general atmosphere. Every evening there was an event that captivated both the adults and the children. Everyone from my family wants to make a re-do in the future.

There room I stayed in was in a newer building, I was large enough and clean.Good breakfast. Nice hotel staff.

There was a long way to go from this building to the reception, pool or breakfast restaurant, traversing 2 other building blocks.There were occasional problems with water supply (due to water company).

Very nice hotel very close to the beach (2 mins) and to the centre of Rethymno (old port). The staff did their best to make our holiday beautiful. Special thanks to Amelia in restaurant and to the ladies in reception! We stayed in the new building. The room was beautiful, spacious with big terrace. Good aircondition, kitchen, welcome drink and snacks. Breakfast and dinner were 5*. Pool area is very nice, and you can also spend your time in game room or in the gym.

The carpet in the corridor should be changed, it was very dirty. Toilets in the common area were not clean at all.

Children's play room was very good however it was not enough ready yet. Children pool also was wonderful. Room cleaning was perfect. In the hotel was a doctor who helped a lot when our daughter got sick In the middle of night.

The pools were closed after 6 PM. For sure it was too early. Might be better if they close them after 8 PM. In children playroom was another small room where was not clean and it seemed someone slept there at night and smocked a lot of cigars!!!!

The location although at first getting to our rooms in another building was complicated. Hafiz was a great help with our luggage.The food in the dining room was excellent. And Kyriakou made us - just as he did everyone else feel so personally welcome.

Very nice rooms, great breakfast and excellent staff. The pools looked lovely, although we didn't find time to use them. A really good quality large hotel with fantastic facilities. Close to the beach, a supermarket and several good restaurants.

The hotel is a 30 minute walk from Rethymno old town. It's along the beach so not unpleasant but it quickly becomes a chore. The immediate area is overdeveloped and quite busy with traffic, even in the off season and driving in and parking is inconvenient.

Close to the beach yet a bit further from Old Town. Nice to be able to walk where I wanted

For someone who wasn't up for a 15 min walk, it was a bit further out

Confusing system with check-in with App - not convenient at all. If you miss a button “Check-in” once you never gave a chance to make it ? And why should I Install app for check-in? If I don’t want/don’t have enough space on mobile?

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Not far from city center - we were walking by foot. In short distance from the beach. Place for car parking. Spacefull room (we booked a studio). We found in the room a small bottle of wine, fruit, left as a greeting gift from a hotel which was very kind from their side. Also we got souveneir oil bottles before leaving.We have very kind memories about this hotel hospitality.

Dinner was included in our booking, but no any drinks were included - even the water. All drinks during the dinner had to be paid in addition.

I booked to stay at Minos Hotel, but was upgraded to their partner hotel next door, Minos Ambassador Hotel & Spa. It was an adults only 5 star hotel and I got a suite. It was amazing, so comfortable, large, great facilities. The food options were great. Fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff. The pool was great as well, not too busy and plenty of sun loungers. Very close to the beach and a supermarket as well.

I could've done with more tea bags, my room was only cleaned twice in my 4 night stay, however, that may be due to me being in and out of the room during the day one time. I am sure I could've also asked for a tea bag, however I didn't feel I needed to as I was so busy attending a wedding.Upon check out I ordered a taxi and it took foreeever to arrive. Every time I've ordered a taxi it has arrived within 5 minutes so I was quite stressed as I was heading to the airport. I'm sure this is not the hotel's fault but some advice would be to book taxis in advance.

Very kind personnel and good location

The hotel has not been renovated for long.The room was smelling mould In five days stay we never woke up by our willwhile there was no sound proof at all You could hear everything from the adjacent roomms:Alarm clock, water licking, furniture moving. Moreover, at 5:30 in the morning we woke upby the tremendous sound of electricity generator that it was just underneath our balcony! On the top of everything we ve asked to speak to the director 4 times and he never showed up!

No air conditioning. Pool area terrible like a hot tub. No facilities for disabled persons. Terrible hotel more like hostel.

Ac wasn't working it was impossible to stay in the facility during hot summer day we had to l3ave and book another hotel and pay much more because of availability at the time . Even the lobby ac was turned off it was really impossibly toskeep and stay

Proper ac to cool rooms off.Pool is closed in morning abd then at 6 pm while there still lihht on doesn't give you much time to use it

Very convenient location right near the beach promenade, surrounded by shops/supermarkets/restaurants etc. Bus stop to historic town centre outside hotel if you don’t want to walk (too far for young children). Very clean property, nice children‘s pool and main pool.

Our room (number 510) was quietly located, which was great! The rooms facing the pool or the busy street would have probably been too loud (music, evening entertainment in pool area / traffic).
