    Pros +

    • Great location beautiful building very comfortable check in
    • THE BED! ….and The breakfast!!! The staff were extreme hospitable making our stay, extremely comfortable.
    • The location was close to the forrezza and the port. 12 minute walk away from the central bus station. The room, #7 junior suite, we had was large and beautiful! We had access to a courtyard to sit outside in the sun and fresh air. The woman who checked my husband and I in was warm and helpful in pointi g out the locations of sites on the map and also made arrangements for our luggage to be stowed behind the check in desk on our last day after we checked out.

    Cons -

    • Our bed was very hard and uncomfortable, which was a shame. Everything else about the hotel was fantastic but the bed.
    • Room was dark and on the first floor
    • Breakfast was limited.

beautiful, historic property in the town center-lovingly owned by katerina & constantine. Delicious breakfast-and owners are kind & helpful.

Great location, near everything in Old Town. Filled with old charm. Great renovation job, Mother and son run the place and both are extremely helpful re restaurants and sightseeing. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. Eggs can be cooked to order. We were very pleased with the options.

The only criticism have is that the lighting wasn’t bright enough for me.

The best street in town according to me. Very romantic area, central and quiet. The place is very nice and very high quality property. Very quiet but lacks a view from the balcony/patio.The hosts are very friendly and helpful.A must stay place in town.

A lovely room, wonderful location, and a gracious host. We've had some wonderful guest experiences in the world, but none better than this one.

Cosy and beautiful hotel. They kept many original features. Comfy beds and great shower pressure. Our room was small but beautifully set out with a original well feature in one corner. Outside was smaller than expected but very cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good soundproof which was a bonus as it was carnival weekend and very noisy. Great location in the Old Town.

Recently and tastefully renovated hotel Very centrally located in the old town

In the winter the rooms take time to warm up

Beautiful room. Great view. Great location in old town

There are a lot of stairs and no parking but that’s to be expected at this type of property

Fantastic location in the middle of the old town with very peaceful surroundings.

All perfect ? the family owners are very helpful and so welcoming.

I liked the ambiance of the old Greek architecture in the old town/harbour including casa dei delfini Old stones with beautiful arches and top it off your in a stunning maze of stone walkways and no car alleys with that old Greek charm.Katrina the owner/host has every right to be proud of herself, she’s a gentle soul with strength of character ?

A great place to stay. Helpful staff gave us useful info on a range of good places to eat and about the Mill Gorge ruins

    9NaureenPosted on: 1-24-2025

The location was perfect. Close to everything in Old Town and the staff were super friendly, helpful and amazing!

Was not an issue for us but the shower is open so all the floor gets wet when used. But great bath products and facilities.

It is located in the old town, walking distance to everything. It has been beautifully renovated, exceptional even. Many of the original features have been retained and worked with, lots of stone and natural materials. There is not much to fault at all. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

It's not that I didn't like it, but they may want to consider a spotlight over the bathroom basin as it casts a shadow on your face, we ladies need good light for make-up! The rest of the bathroom was well lit.

The hotel is a unique house with a history in the Old Town of Rethymno, a one time monestary, olive oil factory converted lovingly to a lovely boutique hotel. Lovely rooms and ambiance.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful old Venetian palace right in the heart of Rethymno. A fantastic renovation and luxurious room.

There was no cutlery in the room, despite it being equipped with a kitchen. This would have been a problem after the staff had gone home for the day however I was able to pinch some from the breakfast room, as the tables had been made up for the following morning's service.
