I loved its central location, but I think the nicest part was the staff.Hotel employee was a delight. She clearly loves what she does and she couldn't have been more hospitable. I'd recommend this place just for her!

The bed was hard. I didn't have a problem sleeping but my partner had a rough time on our first night. Something to be aware of if you're sensitive to that.

Location was beautiful, the staff was very friendly.

The bathroom needs to be renovated asap, too much mould.The stairs to the second floor can be a challenge.

Loved the upstairs terrace, the very kind staff,and situated in historic old town of Rethymo.

We had trouble locating it but not the fault of the staff. We used GPS from parking area,and failed to,switch to walking mode. We did enjoy the peaceful central garden and park.

Hosts are exceptionally responsive. Location is ideal. Housekeeping is perfect.

Room could use an electric plug strip. Written instructions for AC and heat would be helpful

The bed is sooooo hard! Seemed like it was a thin duvet over a box spring!

We had a very nice stay in rethymno. The room was very clean, spacious and the hosts communicate very well. There is a free parking space close to the hotel, the vibrant city center is just one minute away. We really recommend staying here.

Fabulous building, loved the age of it and the roof terrace was just fantastic. We used it every afternoon and evening and it made our holiday perfect. The hosts are such lovely people and do everything possible to make your stay as wonderful as possible. We are more than happy to recommend this hotel and will definitely be booking for a return visit next year.

Beautiful building. Has retained the character of Old, while feeling modern.The bedroom was a good size, and the bath/jacuzzi/wet room was a wondrous addition.Location was ideal, only a short stroll from the Fortress, and handy for all that Old Town has to offer.The cocktails were delightful, and the host is superb.Will most likely return next year.

Amazing place. So beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Rooftop is lovely. There is no elevator so it is not for anyone who cannot take stairs. Location could not be more perfect.

Because it is in the heart of Old Town, you cannot drive up to the property with your bags, so you should travel lightly.Free Parking is not easy to find, so you will likely have to pay. This is not any reflection against the property. It's just an inconvenience that should be expected to be in that location.

The single room was pretty comfortable. Good bed, good shower and unmatched location, those are my priorities and they were all met.Breakfast is nice.

Soundproofing is not the best and it seems to be the same around Crete. You can hear the street or other guests. Not a big deal if you are not sensitive to noise like me. Still i slept perfectly fine.

Location in the old town was great. Just what I wanted. The hotel was individual and had character. The roof terrace was a nice feature.

Being woken by loud banging from 8.30 am. The noise was hammering of some sort coming from their coffee shop directly below my room. It continued for at least half an hour. I had had a late night out and wanted a lie in. It woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep.When I mentioned it to staff at check out, the girl simply said an embarrassed, muttered "Sorry" with no explanation. Probably a one-off incident, but they should put their guest's comfort first.

The top floor has an amazing view of the city and the sunrise and sunset. There is beverages staged throughout that can be grabbed and cute cafe downstairs.

Not handicap accessible but the entire town really isn’t.

The location was great & the booking & reception was easy and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean.

The water pressure in the shower was very low! This definitely needs attention and needs to be fixed. Also, the room, due to the hotel's location in the Old Town where temps are higher than elsewhere in Rethymno, was extremely hot and the A/C was not up to the job, sadly. When we closed the A/C for some fresh air we saw that only one window panel opened. It would be far better if both windows in the room 'Helen' opened. The extreme heat and the underperforming A/C made for a bad night time's sleep. And please fix the shower's water pressure.

We stayed there for one noght on our trip through Crete. The rooftop and its beautiful view across Rethymno. The location is at the entrance of the old town. The personel is very generous and adviced us in advance where to park in the labyrinth of one way streets and gave us all the Information we needed. We can recommend the place for a stay in Rethymno.
