We had a very pleasant stay, the staff was amazing, very welcoming, helpful and friendly, they even checked us in a bit earlier as we had a very early flight. The room was big, very clean, equipped with everything you need for your stay, comfortable with a big balcony that has a really nice view of the sea and the fortress. The food that we have enjoyed in the hotel's restaurant was very good and we would recommend you to try it. The location was wonderful, the beach was right in front of the hotel, in close proximity to the Old Town, bars and restaurants and in the same time at night it was quiet. We definitely recommend Palm Beach Hotel Apartments for a lovely vacation.

I had a wonderful stay at Palm Beach Hotel. The room was spotless, and the hotel’s location is perfect—right next to the beach. We used the beachfront sunbeds and simply informed the staff that we were guests of Palm Beach Hotel; for three people, they charged us only €7.50 thanks to a 50% discount.Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of traditional Cretan dishes that really added to the experience.What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. I had an issue with a transfer I had booked through Booking.com. The transfer company, Canet Travel, falsely claimed that the driver was on time, even though we had been waiting for nearly 30 minutes and no one showed up. Despite this, they attempted to charge the full transfer fee. Fortunately, I had proof that we were there on time, and with the assistance of the hotel staff, I was able to communicate this to both Booking.com and Canet Travel. The staff went above and beyond to support me, contacting Canet Travel directly and helping to send the necessary evidence. Thanks to their help, I received a full refund.

Location and warm welcome

You need to pass thru the restaurant while you’re back from swimming and it would be also good to be able wash foot to get rid of the sand before entering to the hotel

Stayed 3/10/24. Cockroaches in my room 305 and in the stairwell downstairs. Counted 5 by the time I left. I was meant to stay for 7 nights but left after 2. Asked for a refund on the 5/10/24 which I'm still waiting on and have contacted booking.com again to help

Location of the Hotel Apartments. Beach across the road and a short walking distance to the Old Town. Lovely Promenade and a lovely sandy beach. Very modern and the Apartment had a wonderful shower.

The location was good, clean apart from the balcony, ok/good breakfast, nice staff especially the lady at the front always kind and smiling.

Building work in next door building woke us up at 7:30, we asked to move rooms and was told no by law builders can do what they like. We don’t feel it’s fair to pay full for this room literally meters away from building site. couldn’t use the balcony as the builders were literally about 2 meters away on the scaffolding also lots of dust. AC isn’t great. Hot water intermittently wasn’t working. The owner said they’re was a problem that they’d fixed but second night no hot water again.

We recently stayed at Palmbeach Hotel for a few days, and we are very satisfied with our experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we felt welcomed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned every day, which added to our comfort. The hotel's location is perfect—right next to the beach, which is fantastic, and just a few minutes' walk from the city center. There is also a restaurant in the hotel with affordable prices and delicious food. Although the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it was more than enough to start the day.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel! :)

The location is incredible. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to a stunning sea view was truly special. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Our towels weren’t changed for two days, even after we left them out for replacement. However, when I asked the reception for new ones, they brought them immediately. The hair dryer was very old and kept disconnecting during use. Cleanliness was okay, but not impressive. The breakfast was mediocre with fewer options than expected, especially compared to the photos on Booking.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the owners are incredibly nice and friendly, always available to help whenever needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast served each morning was beautiful, with a great variety of options and excellent service.

Our room on the 2nd floor was basic but clean, . However, we did notice that the balconies are shared with the neighboring rooms, separated only by a small 100cm glass panel. As a result, when our neighbors smoked on the balcony, it occasionally drifted into our room, which was a bit of a concern.

The staff is wonderful and so dedicated to the guests that you will feel amazing. The rooms are clean, and they have beautiful sea views. The location is excellent, it's peaceful, and everything is close by.

This hotel is awesome! It's right on the beach in Rethymno, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good, and you can get a beach towel for 1.5 euros. In front of the hotel, there are a bunch of sunbeds and umbrellas that you can get for free if you buy drinks (usually spending 10 euros would be enough).I would definitely come back to this hotel!

Very nice, clean and comfortable appartement in a family-run hotel close to Rethymno city center. Excellent choice for breakfast, either changes overs the days. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommended!
