The food, wide choice and good quality. Loved the bread.

No big issue, I prefer a walk-in shower.

Classy hotel, with excellent rooms and facilities. Close to the beach and a lovely walk along the promenade to the old town and harbour.Breakfast food was great, with lots of choice.

This is one of the best hotels I stayed at, and everything was absolutely perfect - from the staff welcoming us upon arrival to hotel's amenities and location. The staff were super helpful and answered all of our questions and requests (e.g., booking tours etc). The hotel is located very close to Rethymno's Old town (15 min walk) and there is a beach with sunbeds nearby (2 min walk). I've stayed in this hotel before and will return on my next trip to Crete!

There was a powerful smell of burning rubber every day in the annex building where our room was. Not sure where it came from, the elevator?? Our phone did not work so I alerted the front desk but it was never fixed. The pools closed sooo early; 18.00.

The hotel has 2 buildings, each of them with outdoor swimming pool.The one in the back has also a small indoor swimming pool and a gym. Everything is sparkling clean, breakfast has a good variety, staff is nice and helpful.The hotel is nearby the sea and the center.Rethymno it's great with an atmosphere of modern holiday place with a wide variety of modern cafes and restaurants while, at the same time you have the old town and you find yourself back in time with old historic buildings, small streets and shops with great local herbs and spices.We've been in several places in Crete, but if I would have known from the very beginning, Rethymno would be the best choice.

Room was cold and humid, old fashioned. Lot of stuff at breakfast but poor quality

We loved the location so close to wonderful restaurants along the harbour … lovely pools but within two short blocks to also swim in the sea. Breakfast had a huge selection of food options.

There should be a Smoking Section at one end the pool because we could not sit by the main pool for all the smokers!!

We would like a room overlooking the pool next time but our rooms were nice.

Stunning swimming pool area. General design of the hotel was fantastic apart from dining room which was a little old fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel.

Swimming pools were not heated and it was not possible to swimming in any of them as the water was very cold. Didn’t like the fact that you had to pay 3 euros a day to use the room safe. That should have been provided free of charge.

Hospitality at its best ! Clean and cosy rooms, good facilities, and very good food. The personnel is always friendly, smiley, and helpful.We will definitely return at Theartemis Palace!

We thought the whole staff worked well together including management! It’s unusual to see it shown in all area! The restaurant management never stopped including wiping tables setting tables etc ! The bar manager helped out behind the bar while his staff were doing other duties!

Parking can be a problem

Nice, spacious, clean room. Good service. Good pools, and a very generous breakfast buffet.

The hotel is huge and is quite busy but that's to be expected. Didn't really like that we had to pick up our pool towels from another building - the place is massive.The bathroom unfortunately had a strong smell.The shower is very awkwardly built so you'll splash water all around the bathroom no matter what you do. Just reposition the soap holder and it'll be ok.

The property is beautiful and very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area is very nice and plenty of Sunbeds. I also liked how they upgraded our room for our wedding anniversary stay, we also had a bottle of fizz and chocolates in our room on arrival. Very nice touch. Location is great, only a couple of minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

Staff were excellent and very friendly. Hotel and facilities were a good 4 star and spotless. Only 5 minutes from beach but more like 15/20 to the old town

No omelettes to order at breakfast. Meat and fish at dinner were poor I’d have to say.

Great location. Great big comfy bed.

Dirty and tatty room. Windows very dirty. Outside table was never cleaned. Very disappointed. Coffee, tea and milk wasn’t replenished every day. Pic of tea tray after room had been cleaned attached.Also electricity went off in the room and defrosted the fridge. Water all over the floor. Just got a shrug from Electrician and no follow up once it was fixed. Not sure if we were in a Premium room. Certainly didn’t feel like one. Staff hit and miss.

Great location.Really helpful staff, always ready to help with any question.The breakfast and dinner were really good, everyone will find something to eat and drink.Sea ? and a lot of taverns, shops are not far from the hotel.

My husband complained that the pillows were not very comfortable.Important point ...we had a street view, on another hotel, and sometimes they had concerts(music), it was too loud, it was really hard to sleep for children.

The room was fantastic, breakfast and dinner were excellent! The complimentary items were lovely.

The stairs going up to the ground level for the elevator were difficult for us to get up with our luggage! You need a ramp there for people to pull up/down luggage easier.

The hotel was in a fantastic Location and the food was very good.

Very small lifts, elevators with very little space for more then 4 people.
