    Pros +

    • Close to the sea… and in the middle of all the walkable beautiful streets with shops and restaurants. Beautiful Italian Greek flavor of the place.
    • We had the most fabulous time - the hotel in ideally located for exploring the old town and tourist haunts in the surrounding area.
    • A lovely little haven right in the heart of the beautiful old town. The pool was a refreshing bonus!

    Cons -

    • The towels have seen better days - the bath towel is not much bigger than a hand towel
    • Room may feel a bit dated, but part of the charm.
    • The place is full of charme, but would need some renovation, especially in the bathroom, that is clean and ok, but crearly old and half functioning

The place was amazing and fabulous location. Each room was very different and spacious. The restaurant severed amazing food and was very reasonably priced. Better than going down to the harbour. Which is very over priced .

The room was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Being right in old town Rethymno allowed us to just walk around and go wherever we pleased. It was the perfect hotel for our honeymoon

Amazing place from the Venetian times. The host is so warm and wonderful. The beds were very comfortable.

The sound insulation could have been better, though it's an old building so I can understand there are limitations. There are no elevators, so those with mobility issues, be warned.

Excellent location and comfortable.Parking in local car park is expensive.

Breakfast was disappointing with a small range. Cooked food not very appetising.

We had a lovely duplex room with lots of space, living area/bathroom downstairs and large mezzanine bedroom upstairs.

The bathroom was a little dated and only had a handheld shower attachment so you had to sit on the side of the corner bath to shower.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. The location was convenient to shopping restaurants and attractions. We were able to walk everywhere.

It’s a small boutique hotel close to the restaurants and sops of the old town

there was no bar in the hotel only in the adjoining restaurant

    9DonnaPosted on: 10-15-2024

Fantastic location beautiful old Venetian building with lots of atmosphere and a lovely little courtyard which was fab for relaxing in after being out exploring

    There wasn’t anything at all

It was as quiet as it could get in the middle of the city. The photos online don't make justice to how pretty the rooms are, also the bathroom looked small on the pictures but it was decently sized. The person who checked was in was super helpful and gave us a lot of tips and suggestions with places to visit. The restaurant had really good lunches and dinner, the puff pastry filled with chicken and vegetables was particularly delicious. The yard area with the pool was very pretty and calm to hangout.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable. we were on a room with two floors, because the second floor didn't have windows the air upstairs felt heavy and mushy.

Breakfast was rich and very plentiful, with the option to help oneself from the buffet with both sweet and savoury choices. The products were fresh and of high quality. The staff is very kind, warm and very professional, the room, although in the very centre, has double glazing and at night the noise is absolutely not a problem for sleeping. The building has a lovely inner courtyard where you can relax between outings.
