The location was excellent. We were steps away from restaurants and shops in the old town. The bus station and the fortezza were within walking distance. The host was kind and helpful.

We liked everything.

Very nice hotel with perfect location right in the historical centre and very reasonable price. The room was very clean, well equiped and cozy. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Although I only used the room for sleeping&showering, I liked that the location is very convenient. It’s a stylish authentic old building.

Because it’s located at the heart of shops, restaurants and attractions, it was very difficult to sleep at night as there were always some loud people coming back from a night out. There’s nothing the hotel can do of course, just wanted to highlight for light sleepers like myself.

There was no elevator! We were on the second floor and it was quite a climb.

We loved our stay at the Leo Hotel.It had the old world charm we were looking for, with a 100% walkability to shops and restaurants. Its was very beautiful, clean, quiet, and our beds were super comfortable. Eleni was an excellent host offering loads of excellent recommendations. We would definitely recommend staying at the Leo Hotel.

The Leo hotel was wonderful…you cannot beat the location our was so cute and comfortable. There was always someone at the front lobby there to help with any questions you may have. There were 3 of us in the room and we were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend 100%

The area was amazing plenty of shops and restaurants open late. The night life was incredible as well with the perk of only having to walk about 100m after a long night out

I loved everything about the property the room was spacious the tub was wonderful. The facilities themselves were well kept also enjoyed having AC.

Incredible location. One of the only ones right in the centre of the Old Town. The 16th century building and rooms are stunning, better than the photos, and a good blend of modern and traditional. Customer service was exceptional too, with great conversation, recommendations and advice. A fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

Nothing. I don’t think breakfast was available but there are plenty of places nearby. Like other reviews say the stairs with a heavy bag can be a bit tricky but not if you are capable - so I wouldn’t let it put you off.

This place is so cute, and right in the heart of town so you are really close to everything- from food, to shopping, to attractions. The hotel itself is adorable, old style wood and stone that has been tastefully modernized. The accommodations were very roomy and comfortable. We felt like we should be in some tiny old town in the alps with the charm of the place. The woman at the desk was very helpful in directing us where to park and how to find the hotel, as well as waiting up late for us when we arrived.

There was not parking available at the hotel itself. The street outside the hotel was shut down for pedestrians only, which we didn't know when we arrived so we had to call the hotel while we were driving around for help on where to park. There is free parking several blocks away, but it was too far and dark for us to want to walk from there so we opted for the closer (~2 blocks) parking lot that was very reasonably priced - 10 euro for overnight parking into the next afternoon.

Top marks for location in a quiet alley surrounded by shops and restaurants. Short walk to the Fortezza and harbor. Helpful receptionist (Eleni?). Daily housekeeping.

Mattresses were too soft for our taste and no back support. Because it's a converted stone building and its location in a narrow alley, there is no elevator (not for those with mobility problems or heavy bags!), not much light, the room stays cold, and there is no proper ventilation in the bathroom. I didn't find it very comfortable in cold weather.

600 year old building, 12’ ceilings, great location, in a wonderful city. The staff was very helpful with great recommendations.

Communication with a late check-in was excellent. Overall, the hotel was excellent, would definitely recommend. The value is amazing.

The cafe/restaurant was closed therefore there was no morning breakfast. Overall, this wasn’t an issue as we were surrounded by other restaurants and coffee shops.

Eleni was the perfect host. Very cheerful, and very informative. When I arrived, I was 4 hours early, but Eleni said don’t worry, and we will have your room ready in an hour. Eleni also gave me the option of 2 different rooms, and they were both amazing, clean, and unique in their own beautiful way.

Fantastic location in old town Rethymnon . First class facilities in hotel Leo lovely helpful host Elana. We had a memorable few days and loved everything about our stay.

Great location, amazing staff and wonderful rooms. Would recommend hotel Leo to everybody! Paid parking (15 euro for 24 hrs) in walking distance from the hotel and it is in the middle of the old town. LOVELY!
