Perfect setting right in the middle of the old town. Genuinely welcoming staff. Great breakfast.

Location service cleanliness are excellent. Rooms over reception are very noisy. I would not stay here based on that. Also while not the hotels fault reviews indicate you can walk to ferry’s. No you cannot. Need a cab. It is 10+ minute cab ride. Team was wonderful as were restaurants. There is a super narrow staircase no elevator. They helped me up but next day our ferry left at 8am. Hotel is has not front desk people until after 830. Break is served at 830. Feels late. They offer options for breakfast left the night before but no coffee or juice. No cut up fruit. Peaches goat yogurt bread cheese honey. Goat butter. Based on this I would not stay again.

Noise. All night. Staircase. Breakfast starts at 830!am. No one mans rooms after 11. So when th ere is noise issues with air con. There is no one to help. Beautiful room. Lovely restaurants

Everything was great minus the music.

Noises. We were located on the 1st floor and had music blasting into our room until around 2am. Very hard to sleep.

The location, the gorgeous room, the kind people , the fresh breakfast . We wait to return!

There is no elevator, so one needs to be able to climb stairs.

Central and great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our ‘cookie’ room was spacious, comfortable and had all amenities necessary. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant Raki ba Raki which also served delicious Cretan cuisine. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Very beautiful room in a historic building, very spacious and impeccably clean. coffee, tea and water always available. The staff were all very professional, close, very welcoming and available for anything we needed.The lounge has an amazing restaurant with different dining rooms, all with impressive decoration and a beautiful garden in between that it is also a cozy and idyllic space for summer and spring. The restaurant staff, where they serve a delicious breakfast, has a 5 stars Service and tasting meals are a unique experience.Located in the best part of Rethymno down town in a beautiful historic city.Colours were something that Impress us a lot and the hotel new how to use them in a very apropriate way.

We had 2 rooms, on the second floor, just above the reception. At the corner of the street below, there was a coctail bar.. Playing nice but loud music, just below our windows. Even with the windows close, you feel like you are trying to sleep in a crowded bar.. I think this can not be a 5 star sleeping experience..

Some difficulties encountered with operation of shower, located within a spa bath.

Perfect location, right in the middle of the old city. Clean and spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Easy to park your car.

AC could use a little boost. It gets pretty loud around here with all the bars and restaurants nearby. Things finally quiet down around 2am.

We loved everything about our stay. The staff were amazing - they couldn’t have done more to help us. It was my birthday and I felt I was treated like royalty! Complimentary welcome drinks and snacks, a room upgrade and a lovely gift as we left - wow. The rooms are stunning and super comfortable, the restaurant courtyard is an absolute delight and the hotel is in the heart of beautiful Rethymno. Really - the nicest place to stay ever! We would absolutely love to return.
