The pool is large and the outdoor area was very peaceful. Great variety of food and drinks. Staff very friendly! Would visit again!

Friendly and wonderful staff. Hotel was modern and had all the ameneties required for a great vacation. Food and drink was also really good. Good mix of food and many Greek alternatives. Beach was short walk and really nice.

The food was 5 star. The shower perfect. Room service was perfect. The drink and snacks and ice-cream on demand throughout the day was heaven The pool was huge and so refreshing . The social atmosphere during the day and in the evenings was superb. The nearby shops and streets were buzzing and colourful at night.

Great selection of food. Great for families. Convenient location. I expected less but was surprised with the accommodation.

Terrible terrible terrible terrible food.Dark, ground floor room that had a weak lock - I didn’t feel safe.Bad bathrooms with awful drainage (the bath backed up during every shower).Extra charge for seemingly everything - safe access, pool table (2€), any drinks other than home brand soft drinks, wine and beer.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Buffet was honesty cooked Greek food with decent variety.

Could use a little update and perhaps some evening entertainment.

The hotel stil has old equipment, the reception area is outdated, lack of shower gels, you get classic soap, the food is repetitive and is no diversity, the fish menu is inappropriate, I recommend grilled fish.

All inclusive was very 80’s in style but the food was very good and varied breakfast was especially nice.

The staff, every and each one of them were absolutely delightful ☺️ The facilities were good and the surrounding was also nice.

The all inclusive was not to my expectations. The food was good, although they could add some gluten free options. The drinks were not any good.The only drinks were from the tap and it tasted terrible. All other drinks you had to pay for!!

All the food and staff were amazing.

This was an all inclusive holiday,the beer was watered down and just not very nice. the cocktails you have to pay for, so it's not really all inclusive. Also there is no entertainment in the evening at all so we had to go out every night. defeat's the idea of it being all inclusive even more.

Big pool, big rooms, very clean, good service, helpful staff, great choice of food, tasty coffee and ice-cream, good location: a beach, bus stops, car rentals, excursion organisers and shops nearby.

Juice could be better. Pillows were a bit too big and hard.

Everything was great, hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful, all the tram - reception, F&B team is exceptional, housekeeping is keeping hotel clean and tidy. One night we had a problem with laud neighbours, who was having private part on the balcony and was not letting anyone sleep. Night reception attended issue immediately after reported - well done, very efficient. Food was very good, repetitive, but we always found something we like there - always fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, fish, plenty of side dishes, deserts. All inclusive includes only beer and vine from alcohol - the rest to be paid, but we didn’t mind. Location is good, just 3-5 min to the beach, many shops, restaurants around, mini golf just across the road, car rental next door, Rethymno 1 hour by food, but also bus available, bus stop is located few minutes away from the hotel (we try to take it once but was full and didn’t stop) so we rather walked there. The best, what they have in this hotel are 3 massage armchairs at the lobby, you drop coin of €2 there and get 8 minutes of very pleasant massage, love it! We recommend Rethymno Village Hotel, definitely yes!

Shower cabin is small.

The pool was very large and the beach is located less than a 5 minute walk away from the hotel. Food was always served on time and the staff was very friendly

Pool could be cleaned more often

Fantastic staff, great pool. Air conditioning kept the room cool at night. Daily cleaners were friendly. Food was delicious and so many choices. After reading reviews on here we thought the choices would be limited but in fact it was quite the opposite. There were many options for food and beverages. Hotel was in a perfect location for walking around the local restaurants and shops. And an easy few minutes walk to the beach. 10€ taxi into the old town
