Hotel Brascos

The breakfast was exceptional! The staff were lovely the location was great and I loved the Balcony in the room. The bathroom was a good size.

The shower could have been a bit larger but it wasn’t bad at all.

Everything, a good hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. This was my third time to stay there

I had a choice on bookings of two hotels in my price range. I chose the one that advertised breakfast available for 5€ extra. Ok fine if the hotel might be a little rough around the edges compared with the other (6 vs 8 rating). Which clearly stated that there was no breakfast at this time of year.brasco on the other hand stated there was breakfast and dinner. I think they intentionally lied. Also their 3 star rating was a joke as bathrooms were sadly outdated. All and all a disappointing experience.you could not even get a cup of coffee. Really saxd

Terrible traffic noise

We have stayed here many times over the years and it has never failed to be very satisfactory. Only little problem has been the loss of the roof garden which was an excellent facility.

Breakfast was fine. Beds were ok. The proximity to the old town was perfect.

Our entrance to our room's ceiling was twisted and coming down,water damage?? Everything was old and not in the best of condition,in fact decrepit. This hotel needs a top to bottom update.

Location was good, central point to the old city, so you can walk easy.The ONLY good thing about this hotel was the location.

The room was completely different from the photos presenting it when I booked it.The double bed was in practice two single beds covered by two separate mattress in orizontal placement and in this way as you were sitting on the bed the short sheets were unvovering the mattress. The ceiling in the room entrance was cut off giving a hanging impression.The bathroom was dirty without a window or air, it had a plastic shower curtin which was blocking the bath tap, with a hair dryer smelling really bad.The breakfast was poor

Room 508: Fan of A/C unit only working on full speed with lots of noice. Rusted faucets. Dirty bathroom curtain. Poor bathroom lighting. Ceiling of room entrance destroyed and ready to fall. Smelly pillows. Rotted balcony wooden framework.

Nice balcony, and location is very close to the old town. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful.

The keys do not properly open the door, you have to play with it for a few minutes to get it unlocked. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was a big letdown. It barely worked and seemed to be very outdated. It felt like we were using technology from Soviet times, which made the apartment uncomfortable, especially in the heat. The rest of the apartment was fine, but the poor air conditioning really affected our stay.

Very close to the old city of Rethimno.

From outside the hotel looks nice but when you enter the room , there is a negative surprise. It is dirty , it stings and it is too old like 30 years ago (or maybe more) , rooms. Everywhere you could see moisture and rotten wooden door frames. I wasn't sure for the breakfast quality and clearness so I ate only the necessary ones.

The location was good. Very easy to get to the city's historical center. The cleaning staff seemed to have done a proper job.

The room was old and smelly. It didn't look like in the pictures at all. Disgusting entrance ceiling. The balcony was not nice either (compared to the pictures again). Two plastic chairs on a shabby balcony, looking at a busy, noisy road. Old, cheap, unsafe lock. Smelly mattress. Small shower with cheap curtain. Breakfast quite rich but quality mediocre. Pool didn't look clean and inviting at all.

The location was perfect next to the old city of Rethymno.

It’s unacceptable when the bathroom is not taken care of properly. Old fixtures and tight showers. The breakfast was poor for my taste.

Location was excellent, you can walk right into the old city which feels like 5 mins away. Staff was very pleasant as well

Hotel is extremely old and nothing like the pics. The pool is tiny and never seen anyone use it. Hallways were not lit and then bathroom was tiny and extremely outdated

It's a nice hotel very close to the city center. Very good breakfast. There is a big parking in front of the hotel

The street is quite noisy and you can't sleep very well

My husband became ill on vacation and had to go to the hospital in Rethymnon. That's why I chose this hotel to be close to him. I was treated very nicely and friendly by all the staff. The willingness to help, especially from the receptionists, was unique. Thank you
