    Pros +

    • Designed pretty wellVery clean and helpful Center center!
    • Well located. Unique property. It was a residence and had been converted into a 5 room hotel. Eclectic space. Bathtub across from the bed. Vanity sink outside the toilet/shower. The latter was quite small but good water pressure in the shower. There is a loft space upstairs which we did not use. The ‘pool’ is quite small and made for dipping. There is a ‘common kitchen’ area on the entry level. We only stayed until 6 am the next morning as we were on our way via ferry to another island. The location was very convenient to many wonderful restaurants and about a mile walk to the ferry.
    • Very clean, great location, lovely little kitchen area (with Nespresso!) made for a great gathering place for our small group. Staff very cheerful and responsive to our needs.

    Cons -

    • Room was a bit too eclectic for me.
    • The only drawback was the poor lighting in the rooms. Reading lights were great, but mirror lighting is needed.(Fortunately I packed a lighted makeup mirror which we all shared.)
    • The lightning on the airconditioner was very bright, sleepmasks were needed for us to sleep well. The lounge on the upper floor wouldve been nicer if it had its own tv, or if the sleeping area was upstairs and a lounge wouldve been on the main floor.

The location of the hotel is perfect and easy to come to. The room is super nice and beautifully restored. The pool area is complementing the hotel perfectly. The staff is amazing and super friendly.

Beautifully renovated villa in the heart of Rethymnon old town. We stayed in the suite, which has a beautiful design and is very spacious. The free standing bathtub is very nice after a long day at the beach. The lounge on the upper floor of the suite wasn’t used much, but is great to use for additional storage space. We used the bookshelves as a closet extension since we stayed for two weeks. shared kitchen, roof terrace and pool area are all lovely- great to relax. Orange juice, coffee and water are always available an great to hydrate and reenergize. The breakfast that we had at Avli restaurant (included in our booking) was the best! Very friendly staff, fresh food and great coffees!

The lightning on the airconditioner was very bright, sleepmasks were needed for us to sleep well. The lounge on the upper floor wouldve been nicer if it had its own tv, or if the sleeping area was upstairs and a lounge wouldve been on the main floor.

It was very central and we could go anywhere on foot! Unfortunately room was very small and there were no lifts to carry our bags! Walking up the stairs loaded is not easy when there is quite some heat! Our room had one window which was looking to kind of balcony but it was useless because the steps were very tall and narrow so the balcony was out of reach, air conditioning worked only if window was tightly shut, so no good sleeping if someone has allergies…

It was cozy. The location was perfect. Loved the shared kitchen area that had fresh orange juice and that water was included!

    Tiny room

Interior design. The pool. The privacy.

    Occasional odour from bathroom drain.

The room was a bit small.

breakfast was great, one of the best I ever had, local products good portions sustainable foodThe room was big and very clean, bed very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, polite and helpful. there is a sharing kitchen with great facilities, you could have as much as coffee you wanted, same for bottled water and raki.

the bathroom could be bigger, room size is very big, it could be reduced the bedroom space and make bigger bathroom, the sink to relocated inside the bathroom and improve the lightening as concern the mirror, my friend is wearing lens and was difficult the process of wearing and removing

Excellent modern - antique design!Beautiful in every detail!Very helpful staff (Tonia) with a lot of information and addresses, even though we did not meet in person during our two day visit. We got the entrance code and everything else was easy. We had an impression that the whole building is just for us. Unlimited access to coffee, water, fruits, etc. Simply perfect!

    10DemetraPosted on: 2-26-2023

Our stay was great! Perfect location, right in the center of the city & close to everything. The rooms were beautiful & the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Tonia especially was very helpful with everything and even offered us some water/juice upon arrival. There is also a small kitchen area downstairs where you can have coffee or a small breakfast.

the location is perfect, the lobby is nicely designed and the breakfast at Alvi restaurant is just perfect and help to forget the negative part of this apartment

there is an important mold issue in the bathroom where you can clearly see the mold on walls…when we entered the room the smell was really strong so we noticed the reception who unfortunately didn’t do anything…they even said they know the problem but they’ll wait for the low season to fix it…For a 140€/night claiming to be a luxury boutique hotel this is not acceptable! this is even dangerous for your health and they shouldn’t rent in such condition. next to that 1 pillow was dirty. I don’t think all the rooms are like this, I’m even quite sure that rest of the hotel is very nice and cozy so avoid the inside room on 1st floor at least till renovation is done. I raised the issue to Booking and the owner hopping to receive a discount but also to get it solved for next customers.

Beautiful hotel, and the staff were attentive and easily reached via text if they weren't at the front desk. I definitely recommend getting breakfast included, it's at a gorgeous restaurant next door and delicious.

Our sink was clogged at one point, but no issues other than that!

    10GeorgePosted on: 9-12-2022

The hotel was very well designed and felt like a genuine boutique experience. The rooms were clean and tidy and the pool was great for cooling off! The communication was really good from start to finish and Tonia was super helpful. She was very accommodating and booked a massage and taxi for us when needed. Would definitely recommend.

loves the bath inside the room. the room is also very spacious . the breakfast voucher for next door was incredible ! with freshest choices and ingredients. stylish aesthetics

there were stairs and no elevator so it’s not always so comfortable. the shower didn’t drain properly. it’s very tiny hotel which is nice in terms of privacy- but you dont have service for most hours of the day. oils be also challenging with a grown baby - because there’s a second floor inside the room which is tempting for him to climb and is unsafe.
