Rooms, staff, and location were very pleasant. No complaints

Breakfast was average - breads, fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, regular coffee.

the architecture, the design, the location, the breakfast - everything is exquisitely curated.

our arrival was horrible. we were asked if we needed help with the luggage numerous times yet really there is no one to help. it’s a small boutique hotel located in pedestrian only area of old town. after we parked the hotel had the young man parking lot attendant help and he was absolutely rude and condescending with the biggest attitude i’ve experienced in all my travels because he basically didn’t want to help and wanted us to carry them ourselves. then the woman desk clerk came begrudgingly and basically implied it was our fault. advice to hotel: please don’t offer help with luggage if you can’t. we CAN do it ourselves but we have a baby and didn’t understand the situation. after we got situated everything was wonderful and the rest of the staff over generous.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Moreover, the building architecture was very nice, the rooms and the common spaces were fresh and beautiful, while the location was absolutely perfect.

Everything was good.Some minor concerns about the cleanliness of the room (maybe we just had bad luck) and some breakfast items that were not at the level of the overall hotel standard and price.

The property was beautiful and the rooms had a modern rustic feel. It was in a great location to walk downtown.

The pool area was very small and right outside of the rooms so if somebody else was using it, which there always was, there wasn’t really space to also sit and relax there.

Absolutely ADORED the Mansio!! Personalized reach out from staff on WhatsApp prior to checking in. Friendly welcome, even after check in hours. Loved the scents chosen, even as we walked into the place and especially the quality of the scents and products in the bathroom! (I’m literally trying to source them so I can enjoy at home!!). Our kids adored the breakfast buffet and the location, walking out to the central square was just so special!!!

Hard to even find a thing! There were a few coffee amenities that weren’t stocked in our room when we would have liked them the first morning. The staff gave them to us upon request though, and it was clear they meant to leave them. The pool is small for kids, (which we knew) but we appreciated it was even available for those in-between moments.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mansio Hotel in Crete, and we truly can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality—it felt more like visiting family than checking into a hotel.The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with every detail carefully looked after, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Its top location also made it easy to explore the area, while still feeling peaceful and relaxing.A particularly touching gesture was how the staff embraced the spirit of Greek Easter with us. They offered us traditional Easter treats and even provided candles for the church service.What stood out the most, though, was the incredible love and care shown to our babies. Every member of the team made sure they were happy and comfortable—it made our experience as a family so much more special.We have to make a special mention of the wonderful lady in the kitchen. Her kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made every breakfast feel homemade and full of love. The quality of the food was exceptional, full of fresh, delicious flavors that we still talk about.

Atmospheric boutique hotel with an original and tastefully laid-out stone interior. Hidden in one of the old side streets of the Old Town, it's within easy walking distance of everything in Rethymno. Bedroom was very large and comfortable, with a big private roof terrace. Powerful shower! Helpful staff.

There weren't many other guests when we were there (early March), so off-season an individual-type breakfast might have been better than a buffet, as the eggs etc tended to get cold.

Very good breakfast. AC heated up the room in less than 10 min., I was there in the end of February and it was cold outside. Quiet hotel and no noise inside the room, also at night. Central location, and a nice terrace outside the room.

The transfered acoommdation is not bad but not the original 4 star hotel as expected.

We were informed that we were transfered to another partner accommodation (unrated in booking.com) the day before as the hotel was under renovation. We needed to pay for the ‘free parking available’.

A spacious, well equipped room. There was a small iron.A fabulous bathroom! The hosts have went to great trouble to provide little extras to make everything feel luxurious and special.The terrace is lovely with comfy loungers.The staff were friendly.Location was excellent. A short walk from the recommended car park and also a short walk down into the old town.

Pool is small and was in the shade when we were there. There were not very many staying while we were there so the vibe was a little quiet. The breakfast was disappointing. There was little choice and, as this this was our last night of a 10 night trip around Crete, we were disappointed.

Beautiful property and delicious breakfast. The room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable.

The playground area close by was noisy in the evening.

Location was great and hosts were very helpful.

They had a drone taking pics of their place and we weren’t informed. Quite uncomfortable sitting on our balcony with the drone hovering over us for 15-20 minutes not knowing why.
