- The extraordinary help I received from the owners after I crashed my car whilst parking. As I do not speak french, they were with me when the car was towed away, explaining to the driver what had happened. They then took me back to the hotel, sat me down, made sure I was OK and offered me a drink. They then proceeded to spend a significant amount of time phoning my insurance company to sort out all the arrangements, including getting home . If that was not enough, they upgraded my room and, because I asked whether I would be able to watch football that evening, they said if they could not arrange it in my room I would be welcome to watch it their own home. I cannot thank them enough.
- Room recently well decorated with new bathroom. Since our last visit 10 years ago, Poncin has improved with expanded hotel, good choices of places to eat including Michelin starred restaurant. Lovely area, great outlet for local wines and cheeses at the edge of this small town.. Good continental breakfast.
