Belmondo Hotel

The location was in old town by the port. Perfect. The room was large and had a view of the port (bathroom window).

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable! The view was amazing! The only complaint is the bed in our room was hard.

The most perfect location you could ask for in all of Chania. Amazing views, perfect room, friendly and attentive staff (Giorgios is wonderful), delicious breakfast (which changed everyday). Would come back to Greece just to stay in this hotel.

Lobby had a bit of a funky smell (we were there during a heat snap of 95 Fahrenheit) but it was fine once you were in your room.

Perfectly located in the Old Town near the harbor, with charming historic character. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are warm and helpful, and breakfast is very good. A wonderful stay — highly recommended!

Gorgeous view of the harbor & the location, spacious for 4 people, the hotel is quaint and has a traditional feel to it. Very clean! The manager and staff were very helpful and accommodating!

The shower room was a bit cramped.

Don’t like that you need a key to unlock door from inside. I think you should always be able to unlock door from inside room or else it is a safety hazard. Minor issue.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of Chania’s old town, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a charming old-world atmosphere that added to the experience. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, always making sure we felt well taken care of. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was not only delicious but also delivered directly to our balcony, making for a truly memorable start to each day.

The view and location of the hotel was amazing! The breakfast was well done (they catered well for gluten-free) and Christos at reception was very helpful and George was very attentive as well. The hammam in our room was a great bonus!

It is a good location, in a central part of the Old Town. The rooms are relatively spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Free parking is available relatively close to the hotel for those renting a car. However, it can be tricky to get a close spot within walking distance during the busy summer months. However, there is free parking located 2KMs away, with a free shuttle that picks-up/drops-off every 20 mins or so. But the shuttle does not run on Sunday, and we were unaware of this at the time, and therefore did not have access to our car that day - impacting our plans.

Breakfast was average. We had been very impressed with the breakfasts at our other hotels while vacationing in Greece, and this one was a bit of a disappointment. There is only a staff member present at reception until 4pm. So if you have an immediate need, for example a beach towel, it will not be addressed until the next day. The TV in our room was very temperamental. When we tried to stream shows at night before bed, access to streaming services would repeatedly freeze and buffer. It was difficult to remedy, so we just gave up.

The view, the bathroom, the general styling of the hotel--it was all incredibly lovely and one of our favorite hotels we have ever been to.

They welcomed me beforehand to make sure I had reception opening times; they upgraded my room. They gave me much local Easter information; they helped with my luggage (no lift)' they escorted me to the taxi rank for the airport

Pretty much everything was great about the hotel.

The location was absolutely perfect. There was a lovely terrace with a view of the Venetian Harbour. You could step outside your door and have immediate access to stores and restaurants. However, you could also close off the room with shutters and drapes for peace and quiet. Each morning the staff served an amazing breakfast to our room. We were thrilled with our stay and will return again.
