Hotel Lefka Ori - City Rooms

It was extremely clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

I had chosen that hotel because it had a lift. However there were 6 or 7 steps up before you could get to the lift which was impossible for me with my luggage. The woman was very helpful though and helped me with my luggage both up and down the stairs.

I loved the staff.. as always making connections when visiting another country is always great.. The owner was a fantastic person. If I needed anything he was always ready with knowledge about Chania and the best places to go.

There was absolutely nothing I did not like. I would and am recommending the hotel to all my friends If and when they go to Greece and want to stay in an awesome city and hotel. I am bragging about the food and closeness to Old Town Chania.

We only stayed for one night because we needed a place to stay in Chania before our plane departure. The hotel is really close to the bus station, that was a big advantage when traveling early in the morning to the airport. When we came to the hotel, at the reception they gave us a map of the old town since it is also close. That was a nice gesture and it helped when we visited the old town in the evening. In the room they provide you with tea and coffee. The room and bathroom are well furnished. Wifi is good and stable.

Great location, nearby everything but quiet area.Great and fair host and owner of the place.

The air conditioner was able to stay on only when we were there because of the key.There was construction right outside our window (which should be ready soon, I believe)

The staff are excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept very clean. Location is very central. Thank you very much to the owner and staff.

Perfect location... Excellent stuff... The room was refurbished with new furniture and really clean.. It's definitely worth it...

Loved the balcony, very nice to sit in the mornings and evenings to enjoy the views of the mountains or the streets below.And the staff is great and helpful with any info you need.

The walls between rooms are not very sound proof, so you get to hear other people talking

Noise from traffic on road outside. Room and bathroom on the small side. Cups and glasses not changed during our stay.

Staff pleasant and most helpful.Really liked the location. On a peaceful, tree-lined street , 5-10 minutes walk to Venetian Harbor.

I enthusiastically recommend Lefka Ori City rooms, and will return to stay there again and again. Top notch was the location and the staff! You couldn't ask for a better geography - literally 6 minutes to the city center, and near all necessary facilities outside it. Spiros, the owner, has native fluency in Greek and English, and is the single most helpful staff person I've ever experienced at a hotel. He will give you all the ins and outs for the area. The value for money was excellent -- rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, and all you need. It has to be the best choice in the city for the economically sensible traveler. Probably not the best choice for the student wishing to pack into a dormitory with a dozen others to save money, or for the traveler who seeks only the ultra-luxury, comes with a spa hotel. Everyone else in the middle - you can't go wrong. Loved it!!

Little I can think of.

Centrally located, a 5 min walk from the bus station as well as the main road in downtown. Close to everything. Comfy bed, nice balcony to hang your clothes. Host was nice and helped me whenever I needed him. Would consider coming back.

Housekeeping skipped some of the days I was there. Not a big deal but still.

The location was amazing, close to the old town and not too far away from the beaches. The room also had an air-conditioner and a big balcony, so that was a big plus. The room was cleaned every day.

We had a double bed, which was relatively small for the two of us. The thing which I disliked the most was that you could hear all kinds of sounds in the room, probably from water running down the pipes, but also the neighbours, which were extremely loud and noisy, I had to wear earplugs because they wouldn’t shut up at 2AM, and I could hear everything coming from the neighbouring room.

Friendly and helpful staff. 8 minutes to the seaside. Clean & safety. Easy to get place for parking. Thank you Mr. S

Great location just a short stroll from the harbour. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who speak excellent English.. Highly recommended.

The place was somehow near to the center of the city.Also the crew is very friendly.

The cardboard was not clean and the door was made of aluminium and the neighbour kept shouting at us because of the voice. So all conversations with my wife can anyone hear it.The Air conditioning was very old

Great place to stay in Chania. 5 min walk to the bus station, 8 min walk to the Harbour. The room and bathroom are great. Spiros at the reception can guide you to the best places to eat and the best beaches to visit. The room is cleaned every day. There are towels, hair drier, instant coffee and hot water jug. Fridge and AC also. I definitely recommend.

The street in front may be a little noisy in the morning ... but hey .. this is Chania :)
