    Pros +

    • It was a last minute booking so everything was fine, very close to the bus station and the city center, good breakfast included in the price
    • The breakfast was great, the staff was very helpful, the rooms were very clean. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a luggage room where we left our luggage while waiting for our flight. They also had a few sofas and a shower there. Very thoughtful.
    • About a 5-10min walk to old town. Breakfast selection changed day to day; breakfast was amazing. Very clean room and clean hotel.

    Cons -

    • My only complaint is the quality of the toilet paper, it was soft, but tore apart very easily.
    • Booked this hotel cause it sounded like from customer reviews it was close to the free public beach but it was actually a 15-20min walk to the beach.
    • the lift was too small and awkward. Very uncomfortable flight of stairs to reach the reception.

    Staff Cleanliness Service

Bathroom very small Breakfast could be better The doors make too much noise when you close them Location is good , but the street of the hotel is dirty..... But it's not the hotel's fault..... The hotel is perfectly well clean and modern.

Convenient location, just few steps from bus station and few minutes walking to old town. Great breakfast. Quiet and comfortable. Clean and comfortable rooms. Would choose again if traveling by bus.

The shower cabin was the smallest I’ve ever seen (and I still could fit).

    The street was very industrial

Elegant boutique hotel very close to bus station. Quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Some design elements were not well thought out, e.g. the balcony door would only open 1/2 way because it was too close to the built-in bed - a fat person would never have fit through the opening; to reset the code for the safe you had to first press a reset button that was inside a covered battery box. Parts of the immediate neighborhood were a little shabby - an area being gentrified.

HORRIBLLE EXPERIENCE! Please reconsider staying here.

I left within 30 minutes of staying here due to the noise level. You can hear everything from the room. You have zero privacy or peace. I asked for a refund but they refused. Horrible customer service.Response to the hotels reply on my review: Dear Mr. Alexakis,Thank you for your response. I appreciate the time you’ve taken to address my concerns. However, I want to clarify that my decision to leave the hotel was based on the noise level, which made it impossible for me to work, particularly as I had back-to-back meetings. This is an important factor that directly impacted my stay, and I had hoped to receive a resolution that reflected that. I certainly did not intend to come across as threatening with my review, but I believe it’s only fair to be transparent about my experience for the sake of future guests. While I understand the terms of a non-refundable reservation, I also believe that hotels should strive to offer a comfortable environment for all guests, including those who require a quieter space. I appreciate the offer of one night’s return, but unfortunately, given the circumstances, I felt a full refund would have been more appropriate, especially since I left within 30 minutes of check-in due to the noise issues.I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive spirit it is intended and that you continue to strive for excellence in guest satisfaction.Best regards,Mila

Modern, very clean, nice bathroom. Good and varied breakfast and could sit inside or out. 24 hour reception was useful as we arrived late at night. Very central, near restaurants and the bus station.

Rooms are quite small but fine for a night or two. The immediate area around the hotel is rather scruffy.

Exceeded expectations. Excellent option for bus travel (including solo female late night arrival)

Breakfast was packed with limited seating, and maneuverability - maybe due to a local group

We stayed here for three nights. The location is good, two minutes away from the main bus station and a 10 minute walk to reach the city centre. The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our whole stay. We enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is new and it has a nice design.

The shower was indeed, as I read in some reviews, quite low and I bumped my head a few times, although I was aware of it.

Our stay at Marron was really nice. We had twin beds and a lovely balcony. This was our first time in Crete. The breakfast was amazing with so much variety including some traditional Cretan food. I loved having my breakfast at their outdoor area which was so beautifully designed and we were always well taken care of by Nicole, our breakfast waitress. I would like to give a special thanks to the receptionists, Nondas, Maria and Petros who guided us throughout. They were always ready to help and give us advice 24/7. Ευχαριστώ πολύ for your kindness and see you again soon! ?

Can I just say it was a perfect stay? Starting from the helpfulness of staff to amazing breakfasts, hotel is very new, comfortable and very well thought through. Honestly, just a very good quality space (amenities, pillows, towels, etc.), managing team knows what they are doing.Location: right around the corner from the main bus stop and close to all other restaurants and such.Would a 1000% recommend staying.

The hotel is super close to the restaurant and the centre area. We could go by foot anywhere in Chania and for other locations outside the city, we had a rented car. Even if the hotel does not offer parking, we always found a spot down the street, or on the next street which is very close. The room is cosy and clean, the bed was very comfortable and we loved the balcony because we could use it in the morning to wake up before breakfast. The staff is great, very welcoming and the cleaning was done daily and with a lot of responsibility. Breakfast is rich, you can find anything from eggs, cheese, ham, and sausages, to yoghurt, fruits, cakes, salads and some Greek specialities. Tasty and rich, plus the coffee is great and you can enjoy all these goodies on the garden terrace, which makes it so much more pleasant!!

There is no bad thing to say about our stay here. The street is not busy during the night so the noise is non-existent. The room was always fresh when we came back from the beach and the towels changed as often as we chose. We loved it and would come back anytime!
