In the heart of historic Chania, family-run Contessa Hotel is set in a traditional Cretan home circa 1800. Surrounded by the narrow streets of the Venetian Quarter, it offers homely rooms, several with harbor views. The bright and airy rooms have bare wooden floors. Very stylish and comfortable room! The location is amazing right next to the sea. Very pleasant stay and the staff were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
Clean spacious room, lovely help desk, 30 meters from the sea and all the restaurants
The property was modern and beautifully styled, was also bright, fresh and clean. The location was also fantastic as didnt realise it was that close to the harbour.

Cons -

upgraded to a room with sea view which is really nice but there wasn't too much of a view because of scaffolding
The only negative was the shower that was tilted in the wrong direction so the water didnt drain and had to move it manually.
