Pros +
- we stayed there for 4 nights and we couldn’t ask for a better hotel! 7 minutes walk to the old city, the staff were so welcoming and kind, very varied and delicious breakfast buffet! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a cute balcony. bonus: a very cute dog welcomed us every time in the lobby?
- Ideal location off the main old town. Lovely clean hotel and great views from our balcony across the mountains.
- A lovely hotel just outside Old Town Chania. Nice amenities.
Cons -
- It's not something really serious, but the stream in the shower suddenly gets hot, then cold, then hot again, then cold again, and so on.
- Pretty limited breakfast and not much going on socially in the hotel but that's not why we were there. I thought the staff were friendly
- Staff was not friendly whatsoever. I felt it was a huge effort for (3 reception staff members) them to muster even a fake smile. I wasn't made to feel welcome from the moment I stepped inside. Only spoken to with instructions..

I loved how clean and renovated with beautiful style.Location was excellent.
The petite room was horrible. AC wasn’t working on a day where it was 42*
The staff were wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent. The location was perfect.
The carpark was steep and very small. It's a bit stressful particularly when you have a rental.
Great locationGreat view from our room balconyGood size shower Comfortable bed and quiet roomGood air-con system (not noisy)Very helpful and friendly staffVery clean and good facilities (incl slippers)Good breakfast selection (delicious pastries)Parking available on site
Close to the old city. Some times there was space for parking.Good to know other parts of the city
Breakfast is very weak, missing a good coffee machineThe bathroom was really small. When lack of availability to park within the hotel, you can spend up to 1h trying to find a space
Location was excellent. The free parking in the garage was a huge sense of relief. The free breakfast buffet was very tasty and good quality. The hotel dog Froso was my favorite part
The room was a little smaller than expected
Location, clean, great staff.
They can use a bellman to help with luggage.
The staff is very kind and professionalVery clean hotel
The size of the bathroom. A little tight when two persons are inside at the same timeA bad smell from the italian showet water evacuation
We liked how nice and roomy the room was. We liked that there was free parking.
We stayed on the night before Easter, so there was a lot of fireworks and people talking all night, might have gotten 3 hours of sleep. Other than the no sleep the room was great.
The breakfast was great and so was the location. The staff was very helpful with giving local recommendations and had an amazing attitude each and every time.
Breakfast was great!
The noise coming from the outside of the building. I understand that it's completely unavoidable since the hotel is located on a busy street.
The location was perfect and central to most thing in Chania
The A/C unit in the room wasn't really functioning.
The friendly staff greeted us with the most welcoming smile. The moment we walked in, we knew we would be taken cared well. The beautiful hotel offered free parking. Chania has so many cars any given time. It was so nice to have a parking space. The breakfast was awesome. The hotel is clean and beautiful. You can tell the staff loves the hotel too. I also love their dog.
The water pressure of the shower was weak.
We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a very recommendable city hotel.
The only point of concern was the parking. It was a kind of lottery to get a parking space in the hotel's garage every day or not. Public parking is very difficult in Chania.
The position. The staff at the reception
Breakfast is nothing special. The parking was full so we can’t use it. Also during the night it was so noisy outside that we couldn’t sleep.
All aspects of staffing really good - warm, friendly and consistently attentive.A very pleasant, spacious layout, clean, well-serviced rooms and a good breakfast. But it’s all about the people, in the end.
Loved the hotel design, the lobby and breakfast area. Room was fine. Looked forward to the breakfasts as the dining room is sunny and airy, looking out to a garden patio. Staff extremely nice. Kept refilling breakfast items for late comers even a few minutes before end time.
We picked this property for its garage. Were willing to forgo staying in the historic center for ease of access and safe parking. Unfortunately, there are not enough parking spaces in the garage. It’s first come, first serve. And the spaces are very tight. So we had to find other parking a couple nights. We found a municipal garage that was good after checking Google reviews. The hotel is nice enough it’s worth selecting for that reason. Didn’t mind walking ten minutes to the heart of the historic district.Note: nearby Market building was being renovated/ rebuilt August 2023
Great location excellent atmosphere, very polite & accomodative staff
