Pros +
- The location and the view were great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
- It’s right on the water. Super picturesque. Clean room. Hotel staff are also restaurant staff but nice and helpful.
- Location was good for visiting and looking harbor only.
Cons -
- Beds are worn, walls are thin, rooms are tiny. Balcony in room 2A only has seating for one. Nearby disco goes til 2:00 am on weekends. Quiet on weeknights.
- Called owner , no one picked up, and hotel address was very hard to find from Google map.And there is no parking near by or even car ir taxi cannot go to near hotel. You have walk 5 to 10 min depending on parking found. No elevator, very step stairs, hard to carry big luggage. Hot water very old system, shower very small, didn't work..hard to rake bath.
- The "city View" room had no view. There was a window with a wall outside of it. The keys didn't work for the backside entrance. We had two rooms and two keys, neither key worked on the back door. The wifi also did not work in the rooms upstairs, we had to sit on the stairs outside of the rooms downstairs to use the wife.

The sea view room was amazing! The bed was great. The bathroom was fine. We loved the one room.

Breakfast unavailable ; location excellent
Steep stairs could be difficult for elderly
The staff at both the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. Maria, the housekeeper, makes sure you have everything you need, and the restaurant staff ensure you have a fabulous experience right by the water.
The hot water worked great until the last two days when more guests started to arrive. But even with that it was a great stay!
Location and comfy bed
Noise outside. Stairs were fine for us but would be tricky for less mobile. Likewise the shower!
Excellent location - best reason for staying here. Fantastic view over the harbour.
Tiny room, very dated decor and cramped facilities. Barely enough room for 2 people to sit out on the balcony.
Location. Location. Location! Bed fine. Air conditioning good.
Bathroom really bad! Zero WiFi.
The location is amazing. You are very close to everything. We walked everywhere.
It’s a little confusing when you first get there, as there is no reception desk in the way you would assume. But call or message the owner when you arrive so they can meet you. They are very responsive and friendly.
Really good location and staff friendly.
Very little water pressure so the shower took a long time
Old tradition building but you can hear everything around you
Nice view of the light house
Great location. Clean and functional. Good value for money. Our flight was delayed and the staff waited way beyond our agreed late check in time.
Quite dated, but that was fine, not really a criticism.
Wonderful view. Ideal area that is close to everything. Having a stove and big refrigerator with freezer was a plus. Enjoyed the balcony but wished was a bit larger. We got there early and were able to check in early without a problem.
The shower head not mounted on the wall. You have to hold it when showering.
Proximity to Chania Port and restaurants. Comfortable bed, very efficient air conditioning, room made up and fresh towels daily
Room is smallish compared to other places we have stayed at in the Port district but this wasn't a major issue for us, as we didn't have much luggage.
Amazing by location with a full view of the old port, the balcony was the best people watching spot and we had direct access via the steps. Out the back door was straight into the narrow streets of the old town. Room was clean and comfortable, somewhat dated but perfect for what we wanted. I worked from the room and the wifi was strong. Would stay again
Nice people at the desk, great location, clean room, everything perfect.
Excellent location and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable. The room is extremely basic and dated, but for what you pay its good value.
The shower was poor, the wall fixing was broken and you had to stand in a small area and manually hose yourself. That needs some attention.
The location cannotbe beaten. Dimitrius is a very flexible host. The room was perfectly clean. Fresh towels, sheets await the weary traveller.
Absolutely nothing. Great place
Brilliant location. Met at the hotel by Dimitrius and everything was excellent, as expected
Unfortunately, there was an electrical outage in the morning. This was not the hotels fault, but it meant we couldn't shower before we left
