    Pros +

    • Location is very good, right at the entrance of the Plitvice Lakes Park.
    • Great location. Ample parking. Decent food. Basics well covered. Far better than advertised - they do themselves no favours with their advertising/web presence.
    • Location was perfect.

    Cons -

    • The worst shower drain I’ve ever encountered. It drain so slow that your feet are immersed after a light shower. Called for plumber staff twice but no improvement. The shower head fixture was broken, the guy could not fix it either.
    • No air conditioner - fine in September, but I'd hate to stay here on a hot day. Dated overall, but fits with the National Park.
    • Room had no Air Conditioning, i had to leave the window open which had no screen. This allowed for a good amount of bugs in the room.Several fixtures were broken in the bathroom.

The hotel was located in the park. Excellent location. We ate at the restaurant at night and excellent service. The breakfast had a great variety of food. The room was good and quiet. Before supper we had a coffee and a piece of cake at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and helpful.

When we got there the parking lot was full and I had to go out later and move my car as a lot of people parked there to enter the park but not use the hotel.

Great location about 2 min walk to the entrance of Plitvice Park gate. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Large parking lot. Rooms were large and clean.

Basic furniture and amenities in the room. Long hallway to elevator. "Whirlpool" in fitness area had only one jet working and just warm. Not hot as expected.

    Good breakfast Great location

    Evening staff not super friendly

    8TraceyPosted on: 1-19-2026

The location is brilliant for going into the park with entrance 2 a very short stroll away. The food was good with lovely choices for breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful such as providing a shuttle service to the bus stop so you didn’t have to walk on the very busy road.

It would be good if the hotel provided information about how best to get to them. They are between entrance 1 and 2 bus stops. You cannot walk to the hotel as the road is very busy and dangerous from the bus stop. But you can walk to the hotel via the back road and this has not been made clear.

The value of the price of the park ticket, great breakfast, location. Team members were fabulous.

Smoke came in our room from the balcony next to us when our door was open. We needed to have it open to get air. Maybe designate a smoking wing.

In Plitvice park. We had bought two. One day. Tickets for two to the park. Immediately the southside return those by one ticket and when we stamped the ticket. You can use it several times. That saved us a lot of money. The staff was very helpful.

Labyrinthine; I got lost several times.

    Location couldn’t be better

Dated, loud, crowded poor quality breakfast with Luke warm coffee

    8DavidPosted on: 12-2-2025

Two minutes to the gate for the national park and the shuttle to the other gates. Great breakfast buffet. Plenty of parking.

Dated furnishings. A little expensive for what you got.

The location is an easy walk down to entrance 2.

We booked this specifically because of the spa amenities included with the room price, but when we checked in they said it was under construction. They need update this on their website before you book, we were pretty frustrated to find this out after a long hike. The lobby is way nicer than the rooms themselves.. very outdated and had a stale smell. It wasn't worth the price we paid for a double room. If you have dietary needs or are vegan, don't go to the fancy restaurant on site, there isn't much available.

Considering the location of the facility, I would say that it met all of my expectations. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, room was clean and just spacious enough for the two of us, and the food was actually very good. (We had buffet breakfast twice, which was much better than most buffets we’ve been to, and had dinner once in the restaurant…very good, once at the buffet. I’d stick to the restaurant though for dinner.)Some people wrote here that the place looked like it was built during the Tito years. Probably was; that’s what gave it its charm. Others complained about lack of air conditioning. We had mild weather during our stay so the AC issue didn’t affect us. Still others complained about the shower draining slowly. I don’t understand this complaint; first off, unless other rooms were different than ours, it’s a bathtub with a shower in it…just like 80% (educated guess) of the homes in the USA have. So what is the big deal if the water drains slowly. Rinse off your feet as you’re stepping out. Also liked that the hotel was just steps outside the park. It is also within “walking distance” from the bus stop. (the hotel shuttle will drop you off at the bus stop when you leave.)So, all-in-all, we both had a wonderful stay here.

Two small things:First, when having dinner at the buffet, you pay one of the staff for your meal when they bring you your drinks. If you feel you need a second drink, they will bring it to you and charge you once again. This is more of an inconvenience than a complaint.Second, while having dinner at the restaurant, there was a Taylor Swift song playing as the background music. No problem with TS, but the one song was on a continuous loop…same song over and over and over again. That got to be a bit annoying.

We traveled by ourselves, but the hotel is spacious and popular among tour groups. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant for dinner was equally delightful. The balcony rooms offer a great view of the forest. Ask for that instead of a view of the parking lot. The bed, bath, and other amenities are all satisfactory. The best part? It’s conveniently located next to the park, just a 10-minute walk away.

The location was perfect for visiting the park. It was an easy walk to get park tickets and enter the park. Room was a nice size and bed comfortable.

    Food was just average.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

The bugs all over the room and the hotel would not change our room. It was disgusting and way overpriced. I would stay anywhere else but this hotel. The staff were rude and unaccommodating. Breakfast was only fair. And that was probably the highlight.

    8VeronicaPosted on: 10-5-2025

It was very close to the park. The outside cafe was wonderful. Great staff! The park was Amazing and the hiking trails were well maintained.

The rooms were dated and the shower was difficult to use.
