Beautiful location, nice rooms, great staff

A bit overpriced for what we needed,

Beautiful rooms, very thoughtfully built and managed. Kind and helpful staff.

Room and bed were comfortable and cozy. Spa was excellent. Restaurant was very good. Staff was exceptional.

A very quiet place to live.

Breakfast starts at 7:30 but when we walked in at 8:00, sometimes no boiled eggs, sometimes no croissants. We then forced to eat others we dislike breads instead. Coffee, scramble eggs, omelette, and fried egg are made by order that means we’ve to wait. This is too inconvenient for tourists because we rather spend more time in national park instead of waiting for coffee and eggs.

Excellent lodge accomodations for visitors to Plitvice. We stayed one night in October. Leaves were starting to change, and the park is amazing. Short walk from Fenomen to two overlooks. The (unmarked) trail next to the bridge is rocky, but this has better views than the second overlook. Very good food.

Everything. Very nice staff. Very nice room.The little extra: you can walk from the hotel to the P3 boat stop of the park. Just remember to buy your ticket online in advance.

The grounds were exceptionally beautiful. It was great that we could walk to the entrance of Plitvice Lakes National Park. The spa was an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to have the traditional Croatia peka meal that we had to order in advance, which was delicious. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious.

So many things were good about Fenomen Plitvice Resort. First the location is actually in the National Park and a great view of the lower falls from the rim of the valley is a short walk down the road. The resort grounds are very attractive and pleasant; definitely a relaxing rural setting. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The restaurant was convenient and good. Free parking is also a benefit. The road to the resort is a winding, hilly country road, that is in good condition. The best part is the staff - everyone was friendly, helpful, patient with us and enthusiastic.

The location is isolated, which is both good and bad. There is only one place to eat without driving several kilometers. Thankfully the resort restaurant is a good place to eat and is reasonable in terms of cost. Our room had a small kitchenette that would have worked too.

The accommodation could have been better prepared for little children, like a fence for stairs in particular. And mind the fence for boiler... No small bed was prepared for the toddler. The house looks much better on images.

A comfortable property to visit the lakes. The property had an onsite restaurant which was invaluable because of the remoteness of the property. Staff was helpful in providing advice to visitors to visit the park. Breakfast was wonderful.

Narrow road that isn’t want to travel at night.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful.

We thought the property would be closer to the park, it’s a mile each way and then the park is another 3-4 mikes depending on which route you take.

Everything was perfect . It’s clean , in a beautiful setting in the woods , 12 minutes from the falls , the staff is helpful and nice and they have a playground for kids!

Just missing a pool.

The hotel was perfectly located near P3 entrance to the park. This entrance has parking nearby and direct access to the boats that take you to P2. The hotel is quiet and private and has private jacuzzi and sauna that you can reserve for 40 mins. each night. We loved our stay at Fenomen.

The access to the bedrooms in our Lodge Fagus was a bit precarious. The staircase is very steep and narrow and older or less able people would not be able to get up to the bedroom. That being said, it was great to have a living and sleeping area that are very separate.

Very comfortable for our family of 5 people. Cute,, nice and rustic property. The staff is exceptional and family owned.

Wish there was a pool to jump in after hiking.

What a gorgeous property! Great location near a park entrance, but away from the crowds. The grounds were in great shape, the cabin was updated and also in great condition for being over 100yrs old! The restaurant was also a highlight. we had both dinner and breakfast there and it was very tasty with great service.

Nothing!

The property is lovely with many well appointed lodges. There was a ping-pong table and foosball table near the reception area for people to play as well as a trampoline. The restaurant was close by to our lodge. There was a path a little walk away with a gorgeous view point of the upper lake and waterfalls.

I wish we had known ahead of time that reaching the property involved navigating a narrow, winding road that climbed steeply up the mountain. In several spots, the road hugged the edge of the mountainside, which made the drive feel quite nerve-wracking—especially in a larger vehicle with oncoming traffic. It definitely added a layer of unexpected stress to the arrival. That said, once we made it to the top, the views and the experience were absolutely worth it.

The location next to two amazing viewpoints and being situated in a forest gives it a special atmosphere. Everything in our room was shining clean. The lady at the reception was particularly helpful and nice.

This is a beautiful property- close to Plitvice Lakes Park, but away from the crowds. The dinner and breakfast we had here were delicious. The staff are exceptional- we loved our stay!
