    Pros +

    • Everything was okay.. there's 1 VERY great staff and that is all we're thankful for..
    • A good breakfast with plenty of choices . Plenty of free parking space. Supermarket and shops nearby.
    • Short stay, smelly, need updating

    Cons -

    • While everything was average, what threw us off for the first time was the staff that greeted us for the first time. She kept an annoyed face on while serving us and giving us answers that were snappy and overall just made us feel unwelcomed... but there were other staffs that were with us throughout our stay and we're thankful for that. But starting off strong with dislike really threw us off.
    • Although the room was clean and tidy, tho outside area was dirty with rubbish and disgarded food around the accommodation building.
    • The toilet/shower stank (I think it was due to the malt shower curtain) all smelt of wee..Towels tiny, noisy and generally unpleasant!

Just off the motorway.Breakfast was early so I could leave early and not suffer the place any longer.

Soap dispenser broken, shower too small, not even a paper cup in the room for water.

Value invested and received, that's it... The rooms are small, as are the toilets, but acceptable for short stays... A big plus is the large free parking lot... Quiet place, friendly staff...

The door bathroom was totally broken, it could not closed. And the water at the faucet it kept running all the time. It was so noisy we couldn't sleep all night. I wrote to staff and no one answered. The check out day is remembered that i have forgot my ipad there and no one answered, after some days they said they could not find it. I have video for the water that kept running . It was insane.

So bad I cancelled my stay at another location of this chain.

The third bed was not cleaned/in use for some time, it seems. There were some bugs laying under the lamp and on the pillow. Overall smell of the room was off-putting. Canteen stuff had a hard time keeping up with laying out the food with the amount of people having breakfast.

    breakfast is good

of all hotels of this area, they have the worst pillows and towels. so old and used. even quick palace has better ones.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the tram stop and you can get to the center of Montpelier in 20 min. The parking is big and safe. The room is small but confortable.

    The bathroom is too small.

Great location for a big drive from Calais to South Spain, half way for us and close to the motorway. Have now stayed 4 times (2 drives to Spain & back), Accommodation is small & basic but cheap, parking directly outside units. Good continental breakfast.

Small pillows, would recommend taking your own. First stay in midst of summer was hot and cooling fan was not working, other 3 trips all was fine.

There were a lot of outlets in the room. The double bed has a foam mattress that was probably a medium firmness. I sept comfortably. The breakfast, although costing 7,50 Euros, was worth it. From the coffee machine, I liked the Cappuccino the best. The wifi worked well in the room I was in.

My worst complaint was the smell from the bathroom drain(s). At least one of the drains in the bathroom does not have a trap, or proper working trap; the smells from the drain pipe system is noticeable in the room. The room is too small for two or more persons and barely enough for one person. At first, I felt claustrophobic. I am not used to staying in a modular cell. The heat didn't work in the room.

    Location and secure carpark

Very small room with tiny bathroom with a bad smell

    7YuriPosted on: 9-24-2023

Relatively low price. Small and cozy rooms. Nice breakfast.

The main problem was the cleaning, mainly the bathroom. Although you don’t expect much of a one star hotel, you expect it to be decently cleaned. Otherwise, it should be called a motel (like in american movies ?).

    Breakfast at Kyriad

Dirty with cobwebs and smell of wee. Squashed mosquitoes on wall and live ones in room. Reception not functioning and used to store furniture. Air conditioning not working.
