    Pros +

    • Everything was behind our expectations! The facilities of the hotel, the gardens, the breakfast, all were super great!
    • The place is luxurious, great looking, very comfortable
    • Breakfast options were plentiful, healthy and delicious. Gym was full of new equipment. The indoor pool was a dream. Very relaxing stay.

    Cons -

    • the food in their restaurant. It was bad and very expensive totally out of proportion
    • Because of an event in the cellar, although we were villa's guests we could not eat either at the "winery" or have a wine tasting. It was a pity! However we eat at the restaurant that was a good experience as well.
    • Although the hotel in general appeared to be very nice, our stay for one night in room 242 was disappointing. The room is next to a very busy road, we could therefore not sleep with the (very small) window open. The airco gives off an overly perfumed smell. On top of that there were renovation works going and the workers (starting at 08h00) on the scaffolding could just look into the toilet (without curtains) in the morning....

I would say that I liked many things starting from the staff courtesy at the reception through the indoor swimming pool open to all ages, and the silent and clean room, finishing at the staff courtesy of the restaurant.

Because of an event in the cellar, although we were villa's guests we could not eat either at the "winery" or have a wine tasting. It was a pity! However we eat at the restaurant that was a good experience as well.

It's a pity that we were not informed in advance when booking that the room was next to a busy road.

The dining area was nice. The breakfast food and service were good. The room was dark and quiet air conditioning.

No proper in room coffee facilities. Paper cups !! No iron in room. Dated 1980 s decor. Shower did not get hot enough and low water pressure and low quality toiletries and not enough towels.

Everything was perfect. Very high standards and amazing staff. The food was incredible, and the spa and pools top level ?. We will definitely come back again.

Great pool area, pool is huge, numerous sunbeds, available staffGreat staff, helpful, professional and friendlyPerfect for us. 3 days walking around in intense Verona summer heat, relaxing in the pool end of afternoon, having a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant, sleeping well in a very calm room.

nothing bad. just the bathroom a bit small but not an inconvenience

The facilities are very high quality, the food was very good.

The hotel was noisy. The noise from the room next to us was very annoying.

    7TaniaPosted on: 7-16-2024

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Actually they were excellent and tried to deal with our issues as best they could….. however…

Firstly. Be clear this is not a Wine Resort. At least not what we expected. Although Tomassi & Wine Resort is in promotional material when you arrive you find a Hotel in an industrial town by the side of a main road. It’s called The Villa Quaranta Park Hotel and it’s clearly a Conference Centre and Business Hotel for the region. Yes there are stacks of facilities so if that’s what you want fine but I’d look carefully at all the photos and the location.Secondly the basic rooms are dreadful. They’re dated. We were shown a tiny room with v small windows that ended at knee height, when we asked for another room the lovely lady on reception shew us a room facing the road, with covered scaffolding- so no window!! The final room at that grade was like an Ibis. So we paid over and above an already high price to upgrade. Lovely room with a patio and very modern finish. I just didn’t feel it was worth the nearly €300 we had to pay for it!! Thirdly breakfast was low quality, packaged group fare.So we weren’t happy! It may suit you but we wanted a wine resort and I regretted not looking at photos and other options more carefully.

    Super facilities. lovely quality surroundings

Long walk to the pool, having to wear a swim cap and no local walks

    8StevenPosted on: 6-21-2024

The pool was lovely it was really clean. But there was not a lot of food choice.

Having to wear a cap in the pool and having to pay for it . It should be complementary due to your insistence that they must be worn .

Cozy rooms, nice location, the spa was nice, family friendly, fantastic breakfast.

The staff was friendly except of one lady at the breakfast hall who she was making so much noise on purpose while she was agresively cleaning the tables and she was friendly with visitors who were speaking italian but not whit the foreigners. Specifically the first morning we had breakfast there we did not know that we shoukd wait for the waitress to come and ask us if we want coffee, so at some point i asked her if i can order a cappucino and she told me that i should wait and she will come. You could see that she was not so happy that i ordered and from that moment on she was not friendly or polite at all in comparison to the other staff that they were smiling and greeting us.

Nice atmosphere. Nice spa and pools. The suite with the hot tub was excellent

Wearing swimming cap in the pool is a bit unusual.

What's there not to like? From our welcoming check-in at the reception, great selection for breakfast, the thermal waters experience and so much more, this hotel offers such an unforgettable sojourn. Jessica, Emanuela and Elena were very attentive to guests throughout breakfast. But the stars of this wonderful stay in the Valpolicella region are the wines made by Family Tommasi. Complementing the unforgettable wine tasting experiences is the amazing Cesare, who lives and breathes wine. Paolo also. They're great assets to this hotel. And last but not least, our compliments to Executive Chef Stefano and his team at Borgo Antico restaurant within the hotel, who executed a Michelin star dinner and experience. We'll definitely be returning!
