An indoor heated pool and steam room.

The floor planks in our room were warped making the whole room appear cheap.

Excellent staff, very nice and helpful. Great breakfast selection. Clean and enjoyable stay!

Unfortunately, the pool heater was broken.

The views were amazing , the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

The bathtub was to high very dangers to get in and out of it I thought I was going to slip and fall the whole time I was in it . The bath towels were small and not enough of them for the day

The best part of our stay was the staff, especially Vanessa and Paulos at the reception. They are super nice and made us feel right at home. They truly made our stay really nice with their warm smiles each time we say them.The room was super clean!Breakfast was Excellent with so many choices and very reasonable hours to just sit and enjoy it.

The only concern was the bath/shower. The wall and ceiling needs some repair done and the bathtub is too high.Otherwise it was VERY CLEAN!

The hotel staff were exceptional. Their service went above and beyond in assisting us with travel needs, accommodating us in the restaurant, and extra provisions needed in the room. Their service went room was a nice large size. Indoor pool was warm and felt so good at the end of the day. Plenty of parking. Beds were comfortable. Balcony off the room was enjoyable.

Pool closes at 8 (2000) which is a little early. It would be nice to stay open until 9 (2100}. Dinner at the restaurant is buffet style with one fish and one meat choice, but no other options. Breakfast buffet was good.

Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Helpful cheerful staff. Good location. All facilities clean. Indoor and outdoor pools very nice after a day walking.

The lighting in the room was inadequate to read.Sauna was cold - you have to ask for it to be turned on but then wait. We waited. The steam room eventually reached temperature but not the sauna.Evening main meal in the restaurant was poor. I had chicken which was overcooked , dry, with BBQ sauce from a bottle. Poor quality cafe food, at a hotel price. Even though pudding was good I suggest a restaurant in town called Solar O Rei.

Included breakfast was great. The staff at front desk was amazing.

The gym equipment was very old and worn down.

The spa area is very disappointing. The equipment in the fitness gym is very out of date, the exercise mats need replacing and the Turkish bath is very basic and old fashioned.The rooms are spacious and well-appointed with comfortable beds. The shower units need replacing.The buffet breakfast is good and the staff are extremely helpful.

friendly staff, decent rooms and clean on arrival. eco-friendly initiatives in place which were really good to see.

many facilities (especially in the health club) were out of order. the hotel doesn't entirely live up to its 4 stars, many of the fittings / carpets were worn/stained and could really do with a refurb. the location is not the best on the island, but for the price it was a great compromise.

Very nice and helpful staff, nice breakfast in bar and nice overall hotel atmosphere . The room was relatively silent.

There was a mold in bathroom, water taps were dirty beneath. At the bar, they do only few cocktails, even after you ask the staff, while they have ingredients for much more.

Great location. Capelas is just outside of busier Ponta Dalgado but has a very tranquil feel about it. Perfectly situated for trips on either the east or west coast. Would recommend!

The indoor pool was restorative. The outdoor pool was clean, full Sun.

The restaurant was awful. There was so much potential here but the food was only buffet style and only just warm at best. There was no variety in the breakfast menu. The bacon was either raw or burnt and hard like leather. Watch your teeth! The fruit was ok especially pineapple. The breads and pastries were tasteless. Dinner is only a buffet at $24.50 euros, very overpriced and awful. I felt like I was stuck here as without a car there is nothing close by. The rooms were ok especially overlooking the pool. There is so much potential here to be a nice resort but ownership has missed the boat on this one! The bar was ok and the red sangria kept me sane. This was my vacation in “prison”.

the location was good for us. 15 to 20 minutes away from other locations.

the room had no storage and poor lighting. the breakfast buffet was disappointing; cold eggs, either undercooked or burnt bacon. the pool loungers were extremely uncomfortable.

Front counter staff was great, although there was an unfortunate incident that was beyond their control they did their best to make the situation a little better. The cleaning staff is HORRIBLE, extremely loud, was woken up by them on Monday morning speaking so loudly outside our room at 9 am talking about their weekend. We were sitting outside the pool a few days later and were unable to have a relaxing moment as all you could hear was the cleaning staff speaking so loudly. It’s unfortunate that we pay a lot of money to stay at these facilities and are unable to relax. I think the cleaning staff needs to remember that we are on vacation and some people don’t want to be woken up at 8 or 9 am.

The pool inside was heated and outside pool area was nice in the morning. The staff were extremely nice

It feels a bit dated and very commercial and we were glad we only stayed one night. Not much to do around the hotel in the evening unless you drive. Breakfast was okish. Overall for our type of travel it was not the perfect place but might work for others

The hotel in general is great, big parking lot, good location (around 15 min away from the city by car), breakfast was nice, and the staff is lovely. The pool was nice but often full with people using the chairs. The Spa is ok, a hot water pool and a gym. I love the cats walking around, it really made my stay.

Dinner was crazy expensive, 24.5 without drinks it's just too much. Shower in the bathroom is not great, they charge you for the coffee pods in the bedroom, for what I paid for the room I expected this to be free.

Good breakfast with lots of choice, decent amenities and nice pools. Front desk staff was very helpful. A/C in room was very good. It was nice to be able to use the pool towels for thermal baths around the island.

Bathroom tile could use a refresh. Steam room not very steamy. Hotel guests should be able to use restaurant for dinner without reservations.

The breakfast was really nice.Not far from Ponta Delgada, really handy to go there for dinner.

Sadly the sauna wasn't working.Shouldn't expect too much of the spa.

Loved the hotel. The staff was exceptional! A lovely area, beautiful location. The breakfast included was amazing.
