Very beautiful, excellent food and great staff

Jacuzzi was not warm enough, we couldn't really use it

The location is great, just 5 minutes walking from the train station and 2 minutes from the town center, surrounded by mountains. Well connected to nearby Semmering ski region (train-bus or bus-bus) and Gloggnitz (train or bus) and many more nice hiking/natural park regions. It is very peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The room had an additional small room where our daughter could sleep (not expected and a bonus :)). Beds were very comfy. Room was kept warm whole day and night, which was important for us as during the night the temperatures outside were -10 Celsius degrees. The furniture was not the newest, but well maintained and I liked the style a lot. The breakfast was nice and in general it is great that there is a restaurant where you can also have lunch and dinner. There is even a nice small spa area. Dog friendly place. Perfect for couples and elderly.

Nothing to complain about. We were very happy with everything, but would not recommend it for families with super small kids. Our kid is already older, but she threw a quite heavy tantrum one evening during the dinner as she was overtired. The owner and waitress dealt with it very well, but I could see that some guests were rather annoyed, which is understandable as they came to the hotel to relax and not listen to screaming kids.

Very nice hotel close to Stuhleck. We really enjoyed wellnes after skiing. There was all we need, good saunas properly tempered. For children there was also little pool. Everything was clean. Perfect for relaxing all day long.

Quite big room, but low artificial light. Room was with kitchen, so we planed to cook the dinner for us. Problem was, that kitchen was not good equipped for cooking: no cutlerys e.g.And also I missed room for drying ski boots.

We spent one night here and we loved it. Nice room, wellness, great staff and good food.

There is absolutely nothing to visit in Payerbach. It is just 30 mins away from Semmering Hirschenkogel for mountain activities, and 1h and 30 mins away from Vienna by train.

Had a great stay at the Hotel Payerbacherhof. We stayed in an apartment at the property and had great views of the mountains from the balcony, Continental breakfast was very good and the meals in the restaurant were excellent. You can get a RUFbus pass from the hotel which allows use of a free pre book taxi stile service which will run you to many places such as the Rax cable car and various surrounding villages and sites

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect for visiting Raxalpe, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It’s also a great place for dog owners, as they are very dog-friendly. We arrived evening, and the staff made sure we were well-fed in their restraunt. I loved the free bikes, which made riding to dinner in the next town easy. The hotel has a charming courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast, coffee, or dinner at any time of day. Parking was easy, and the lovely garden in the back was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

The headboard was dated and the lighting was bright. Other than that, everything was fine!

Excellent room, very friendly staff. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner were really good. They have good choices for vegetarian dishes also. I stayed in the loft…very clean and nice room

The room was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent, the personnel was very kind. We did not use the spa.

We had great big appartmnet with tarrace. Very freindly staff and good food in restaurant. I am not sure if it was mentioned in Booking that bathroom is open on living room, so less perfect for non couples.

Great location for hiking in the mountains. Nice sauna and good restaurant.

The double room with wood flooring was quite big and clean. The bathroom was clean and a nicely scented soap was provided. Wide variety of choices for breakfast and the personnel very friendly. The hotel is very easy and quick to reach from the train station. The garden is beautiful with a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Recommended!
