Wonderful, helpful staff, pleasant terrace in front of hotel. Location very good for the area.

The bed was quite hard, in my opinion. Others might find it quite comfortable

Great place - is nicer than it appears in photos. Staff were accommodating and helpful -- our flight arrived early, and they provided an early check-in and stored luggage before then. Breakfast is also above-par.

Loved the beach front access. Everyone was super kind and helpful. It was very clean and my room was very comfortable. Really cute place and great price. I was just here as a long layover to fly out next day. I’m glad I booked it.

We arrived around 10am, were told they couldn’t guarantee the room to be ready until 3pm which was understandable. They held our bags and we returned at 3pm to be told our room was not ready due to short staffing. We were told 30 minutes, but once returned, still waiting until 4pm. Once In the room, we found our bed request for a king wasn’t fulfilled and got two twin beds. Once at the desk again they explained they do not have king beds even though our request was approved in an email, they placed a topper to connect the beds. We were told towels are available for the beach so we proceeded to the room to change into bathing suits but once at the front desk we were told there was no more towels. Did not recieve towels until we returned from beach. In the morning we asked for an hour extension because of the delayed checkin by 2 hours and were denied.

The room was clean & bright. Comfortable bed. We loved the balcony with its sea view. The front desk team was friendly, professional, and always ready to help.

The bedroom closet was dirty, the toilet smelled and the towels had holes! The room was extremely warm and it was not possible to leave the AC on while we went for dinner. To top it up since the room was on the ground floor we were awake at 7 am by the staff setting up the breakfast.

I payed for an ocean view, however I was in Room #2 that faced the street. It was very noisy in the morning because we were near where the staff prepared the morning breakfast. I was charged too much money for what I received. The only way we would stay is if this past visit was rectified .

Parking was a bit annoying in that there is nothing close unless paid. As well no one at reception until after check in time and had to go to other hotel to check in but just across the street so wasn’t too bad.

Location

Reception is in the neighboring hotel, but you are not informed about this. The sign on the reception about this is only in Portuguese. I had a reservation for a double room, but instead was given a twin - since it was past midnight, I didn’t have any energy to go back to the other hotel to deal with this. Overall, the hotel feels a bit dated

The breakfast was very poor even for a 3 star standards. There wasn't even water, and usually you find it everywhere. There was no staff around so plates did not get refilled.Both days the reception did not work so for check in, check out and any other issues I had to go to their other hotel. On my departure, I asked to book a taxi for a certain time from staff at the reception. The receptionist booked it for 10 mins later than I have asked, then taxi was late for another 10 mins. The driver seemed to be well known by the receptionist, and they both told me I shouldn't worry, the airport is close. Just keep in mind that it is a reception of a 4 star hotel by Ridan. And I paid 10 euros for a 7 mins ride while I was told I will cost 7 euros. When I expressed it to thr driver, he ignored me and did not give change.

Location is amazing with shops and restaurants along the strip and a beautiful beach to spend the day.

The variety of food served at breakfast was good. Staff we encountered were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know that is traveling to the island of Terciera.

Excellent location; very friendly staff; clean rooms and comfy beds.

Parking was difficult and website says there is free parking but we ended up having to pay a couple of days and move the car around.

The location was great- right beside the beach which was perfect for us and our 4 year old. We opted to pay for breakfast. There was good variety for everyone. The beds were comfy. Happy we had air conditioning, super helpful! The staff was super nice and friendly.

When I had done a search we were looking for shuttles it states on the website "A shuttle is available to Lajes Airport, a 5-minute drive away." This was a bit misleading. there is no shuttle service to and from the hotel. You basically have to get your taxi there and they will call you a taxi when you want to leave, it cost us 10 euros each way. Also read closely- that there is no parking available at the hotel. Basically you have to find street parking or park further away near the park or marina (if it's available) and walk in. It was less convenient especially if you pack everything you need for the day to go out (with a 4 y old), and walk to and from the car. The fridge in our room didnt work, but it was eventually replaced which was helpful. Keep in mind if you want to have items in the fridge (eg. meats for sandwiches for lunch etc), once you leave the room (electricity is shut off when your card is not in the slot), the items are not kept cold.

Our first room had a broken air conditioner, the second night they moved us to a second room. The beach towels were a great perk and they never complained about how messy our family was with young kids.The breakfast had scrambled eggs, but other than that was only composed of pre-made breads and fruits.Nearest free parking is a bit far.
