Finlandia Hotel Airport Oulu

The room was just the right size for our family of 4 people. The view front the window was beautiful.The breakfast was perfect, we enjoyed it very much.

Location. Great for bird watching!The pastries at the front desk were delicious.Meals were good.

The hotel was cozy, and the staff were absolutely lovely — always happy to help. We booked our room quite late, so we couldn’t get one with a double bed. We only stayed for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was good overall, though I do wish the buffet offered a wider variety of snacks, foods, and drinks :D

The hotel is so close to the airport that it is an obvious place to stay if you are taking a morning flight.

I would have preferred if there was a restaurant for an evening meal. I did not realise that there was not. Breakfast on the other hand was good.

Breakfast was good with enough options and the rooms while basic were comfotable.

I thought that there was a restaurant there for evening meals but there hasn't been one for 3 years.

Friendly welcome, very relaxed feel to the place. It met my needs for the night fully and well.

I hadn't realised that the hotel didn't have a proper restaurant, only snacks available in the evening. If had known this I probably wouldn't have booked there. As it happened though, I had bought enough items at Manchestre Airport, originally intended for lunch in transit as I had a very tight connection in Helsinki. These, with the hotel snack bar, sufficed and as I liked the hotel in all other respects I was glad to be staying there.

A wonderful breakfast with a fine selection, some of which were cereal, yogurt, fish, cold cuts and breads, fruit, and eggs and sausages. Comfortable beds. The grounds are very nice, and close to the Gulf of Bothnia. Quite close to the airport, which is nice if you are getting in late or leaving early.

Was not able to open the large windows to cool down the room. Only a side vent window can be opened.

The location is secluded. Not much around. The room very basic.

Easy to access also for late travelers. Uncomplicated check in, good beds and standard breakfast. Great pit stop on your way to Lapland.

We had a small teapot, for one cup only. In the room isn't a spoon and etc. They have no lift, and breakfast is on the second floor.

The hotel is surprisingly far from the airport (approx. 10 minute drive - taxi at 01:00 AM cost €28). Also the blackout curtains didn’t cover the entire window, so the room was quite light.

Good accommodation, close to airport, quiet, good breakfast, good value for money, optimal for the first night after landing, good starting point to visit the area. city center 10 min drive away. interesting bird watching tower right behind worth visiting even if you are not a birdwatcher

A small surprise in the room made me smile after long trips. Efforts have been made to create coziness in the room. Breakfast was good. Tasty coffee. Free parking.

The hotel was excellent for easy access to the city and the airport. Fantastic location close to the Baltic Sea coast, lots of birds. Very friendly staff.

Breakfast was meagre but adequate. The main drawback with the hotel was the lack of any restaurant facilities in the evening, either in the hotel or within easy reach of the location.
