Convenient location for arrival on a late ferry. Quiet room. Comfortable bed.

Bathroom was a bit 'tired'.

Nothing. Hotel tried to scam me into paying an extra 52 euro for a prepaid breakfast that sucked. When I showed them the paper that clearly showed I already paid for the breakfast, they threatened to call the police. Beware of hotel scamming you.

A short stay as I was taking the early morning ferry to Portsmouth. Excellent room and comfortable bed

main course served before starter .waiter and staff very in experienced - he spent more time talking to friends who had brought their appalling badly behaved young friends with them than concentrating on bona fide customers.No sign of English menu and he begrudged even giving the odd translation which would have been helpful

Great place to stay just 5 mins from the Ferry terminal ideal for catching an early morning ferry, breakfast is available from 6-30am perfect. Secure parking, adjacent restaurant offered a variety of choice to suit all. Room was a little small but had tea & coffee facilities.

Location. No problem with late arrivals and always always someone there to serve you. Good restaurant attached.

The rooms were modernised a few years ago and as part of the bathroom modernisation an opaque screen was inserted in the wall next to the bedroom. This results in anyone going to the toilet in the night wakes the other occupant of the bed when the light is switched on. These should be painted over. In addition the door to the bathroom is now on a push/pull basis so even if the light doesn't waken the other person the noise from the door will. Should be replaced by proper handles.

Hotel was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spotless. The swimming pool added an extra bonus

A bit far from the main attractions unless you are driving.

The location was perfect for the Ferry Port; nice quiet room in pleasant, safe environment with a large bed and secure parking were the main attractions for us. Very nice people at the reception.

A few more tea bags & milk and proper cups or mugs maybe

Bathroom designer should be shot. Ridiculous translucent screen between bedroom and bathroom, so going to the toilet in the night wakes partner up. Cant reach towels from shower because shower door hinged on wrong side. Basin too small, very difficult for wet shaver not to get water all over floor. Not great value for money, rooms could be bigger at this price - or a little cheaper to match competition with similar facilities.

I booked a wheelchair accessible room for my daughter but the hotel had not recorded this. They had a room available but it took quite a while for them to make the switch,and they charged us 20 euros extra. Everything else was excellent and breakfast was exceptionally good.

Restaurant was very good with a limited but good menu. The breakfast was just the ticket - all we could have asked for. The room was spacious enough and everything worked and was clean and nicely set up.

Have stayed here numerous times and generally I like the hotel a lot, more so with the previous management. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and there is a small but very cosy lounge bar.

Under new management the standard has gone down and there is a definite attitude problem with the new manager. The other staff have been friendly and helpful as usual, especially as most of them know me and recognise me from previous fairly regular visits. I stayed for two nights and when I returned on the second day discovered that my room had not been serviced. I went to reception to ask why not and had to wrest the manager away from the rugby on TV, just got a shrug and the message that there was no one to undertake room servicing that day. There was not even an apology and was asked what the problem was and did I really need anything. She did get me some clean towels that I requested. I was not even offered any discount for the inconvenience and incomplete service. I like this hotel and normally give it high ratings but not this time. I am even considering changing hotels for my next trip through Ouistreham.

I have regularly stayed at this hotel as it is well located for the ferry terminal and onward travel, with secure parking. It is very quiet and rooms are a decent size with good bathrooms. Although I arrived too late for it, there is a restaurant right next door which has a very traditional French menu which looks good.

Breakfast is a little limited, but perfectly adequate. Some might not like the self-service style of breakfasts that are the norm nowadays but it means that there are no delays in extra coffee, tea etc and no fussing: ideal for first thing in the morning.

Stayed here before on a late night Fery crossing. Good hotel, no frills, but decent overnight stop.

Only there overnight but location was perfect for ferry to uk. Room was more than adequate and local amenities were close at hand.

The very convenient location close to the ferry port. We have stayed here many times and it is always clean and reliable. Easy parking, and now there is a restaurant next door as well.

Since about a year ago the beds have waterproof mattress protectors which are not breathable and can get very hot and sticky.
