Close to the ferry, nice hot shower, accommodating staff

Breakfast was from 7-10 am, not many choices but was okay. For the price of 19.80 euros for two people could've had more warm food choices.

The location was great it was very close to the port. The breakfast staff were helpful and attentive. The restaurant/bar area was lovely.

There could have been more available for breakfast maybe eggs. The bedroom decor was outdated. The hallways need redecorating on the stairs. The room I was booked for wasn't clean so I was upgraded to a nicer room whixh was good.

Staff welcome, the restaurant, the location & superb value.

Given the good value difficult to criticise. A walk in shower would have made this perfect for me

It is has an OK restaurant, and staff was helpful.

The inside of my room needed to be remodeled completely. I had to carry my suitcase up 2 stories with a curved staircase.

Excrement on the toilet bowl and seat. Stale smell in the room. Peeling wall paper. Cracked shower floor. General poor state of repair, dents in walls, yellowing smoke alarms, broken shower head attachment. These were budget rooms but nonetheless. I'd honestly have been as happy sleeping in my car

Welcoming staff. Restaurant on site with a good choice of dishes. Close to the port.

No lift, so this place is unsuitable for people in wheelchairs or with mobility problems.

Arrival everyone very helpful and certainly when we left first thing in the morning.

Basic provision in the room would be nice to have tea and coffee making facilities

Location near to the port. Accommodation is comfortable enough.

The staff attitude was poor from start to finish. We accept staff were busy and stressed but , except for one young lady later in the evening, they made us feel like having guests there was too much trouble. One of our small group waited so long for a drink that he gave up and left. They charge to store cycles, 5 Euros each which they put in part of the restaurant at 10 pm. Having paid for this, at the appointed time they said they were too busy and we would have to wait longer. When we asked for a refund and said we would lock them up outside they changed their mind. No other hotel we stayed in all week charged for cycles.Finally, though rooms were adequate, they were not exceptional and there was no hot water in our room. There was also no main light and only one bedside light working.

It is casual and comfortable. Dinner was excellent, breakfast just the basics. Location next to ferry terminal is great and it is easy to go from hotel to nice walks in any direction.

Rooms are tiny, no lifts, multiple doors to open and close down the corridors, breakfast not great.

Breakfast was of marginal quality and selection and was not ready for customers well after opening time. The shower head in my room was so loose I could not direct the water unless I held it with my hand the whole time. I asked for a taxi and they said it would take 30 minutes! I got an Uber in 3. Not terrible but not good. Tiny room. No lift to first floor - must carry bags up narrow stairs.

Clean and comfortable room. Good location next to the ferry. Polite and efficient staff.

Poor shower.Not a great evening meal, steak was tough and the charcuterie starter was poor. The exact same Charcuterie was for breakfast. Very poor breakfast. Nothing hot, just allowed one croissant.

.The room was reasonably spacious and had a great sea view, a bit old fashioned, but clean and good value for money. The hotel is in an excellent location 2mins from the ferry with excellent free parking .

We would have welcomed a brighter main light in the room. Bedlights and dressing table lights were ambient rather than functional(I do have difficulty seeing) and a tea or coffee making facility would have been very welcome. We would have eaten in the restaurant rather than elsewhere if they had served salads and snacks that were not extravagantly priced.

Straight off the ferry and 5 minutes you're there.After staying in 3 hotels this one had the best beds by far .

Location is fantastic, across the road from the ferry. Staff were really friendly. Had an evening meal which was good. Great karaoke fun on the Friday we were there ?

Walls are thin, you can hear the room next-door. Couldn't work out how to switch off the heater in the bathroom so affected our sleep until we worked it out. But still a great stay for the price.

Have stayed 3/4 times a year for passed several years and the hotel improved over the years staff as changed but always helpful and friendly. breakfast as greatly improved over last 18 months loverly lady on breakfast duties last 3 visits keep it up and sure another star not far away Dave

we normally stay on way back to uk and return to France .our ferry for last 4/5 years 3 times a year as been late arrival 2200 to 2300 when the hotel is finished for the evening. coffee or tea in room would be icing to miserable 6 hours crossing la manche but not a comlpaint

No none sense clean basic hotel, very good restaurant
