- The breakfast area included a nice view of the sea, breads, cheeses, meats, coffee machine, water, eggs were only hard boiled, some vegetables, cereal, but nothing was cooked and hot food was not available.
- The location is amazing!!! The views spectacular!!! Breakfast wonderful!! Staff extraordinary! Walk down the street to great casual restaurants right on the water!
- Superb location. Car lock up garage is included and a real bonus. Breakfast just perfect. Staff fabulous, every one of them. Rooms are simple and very no frills but super clean and great bed. We booked last minute on booking com on Saturday and it was 135€ for a double room with no sea view. I thought that was super expensive and the hotel is not worth that kind of price.
Cons -
- You have to pay 4,00 Euros if you want a beach towel for the swimming pool. The lounge chairs and umbrellas were free. The water in the swimming pool is salty sea water, not fresh water.
- Not a thing!
- -The beach is impossible to swim at unless you have the proper gear (swimming shoes). -The pool is with saltwater pumped directly from the sea, however there's no filtration system in place.-The location is at the very end of Ospedaletti and the closest restaurant is 15 min walk. The closest shop is nearly 30.-There's daily housekeeping, however, there's still dust everywhere. -Breakfast was included, but it was on a first come first serve basis, therefore, there was barely enough for everyone. Last breakfast before check out was quite disorganised. At 9:30, there was barely anything already done, so there was a wait time and hungry people waiting in line.

Very bad
First of all, the pics on booking.com are very deceiving. Pics are stunning. Hotel is really very bad. The breakfast very disappointing. Bees all over, cannot have breakfast in peace. The breakfast area is so dirty. The shower must be the size of 35x35. Extremely small. I will never recommend to anyone to stay there.
Breakfast definitely sweeter than what im used to but coffee was v good
Probably too much sweet stuff and i don’t eat cold meats and cheese for breakfast
Good question. Staff seemed pretty nice.
All in all a bit grotty. The bedroom was clean as was the reception and hallway. The pool area was pretty ugly, especially compared to the other private beach areas which you could probably get for €10 for the day. The photo of the hotel looks quite nice but when you're in the sea looking back at it, it's actually pretty ugly. If I went back to Ospedaletti I'd look for somewhere else for sure.
This was the perfect spot for our family to relax for a weekend. It’s rustic, but beautiful. The staff were all lovely and kind. The pool overlooks the sea and there’s a little beach where you can swim in the sea under the watchful eye of a lifeguard. We spent 2 days outside in the pool and sea, snorkeling and swimming. Bar and food close early here, so plan for that.
Those looking for a “Four Seasons” type resort will be disappointed. This has a Euro feel that we liked, but that fancier people might not enjoy.
Super location close to the sea.
The pool and the ladder was not ready before 9 a clock?
The location is amazing, right by the sea. You can hear the waves even when the windows are closed. The breakfast was fine. The staff was really nice
They say that “children of any ages are welcomed” but didn’t agree to put a baby cod in our room. Children under age of 3 are not allowed to the pool (apparently they have never heard about swim diapers and are afraid that the baby will have an incident in the water). Also, the “private beach” is basically a rock, so not great for children either. Hotel calls for renovation.
Great location
I can imagine this hotel was very nice in the 80s, and since then absolutely nothing has happened. the hotel is in desperate need of renovation, and when I say desperate, I really mean desperately in need. Definitely not worth the money, unfortunately. I never give bad reviews, but this was really below par, especially for the money you pay.
The view from the room was amazing indeed, right above the beach, with fresh sea breeze entering. The location of the hotel is excellent, although a bit hard to find, as the indication on Google GPS is not accurate. The gentleman serving at the breakfast buffet was very friendly, though the breakfast as such was rather poor.
The single bed room is a shame for this price. It's just a narrow tube, the only nice thing is the window towards the sea on one end. Since I was a child I have never again slept in such a tiny bed! The bed as well as the whole room would be more suitable for a youth prison than a hotel of that category. The night receptionist was very unfriendly. First he scolded at me why I was arriving so late (4 am). Then, when I asked if I could have a room with a larger bed, he barked at me, literally "that's what you have booked, so that's what you get!", although they had rooms available (and I would have been willing to pay a difference, if necessary). The announced minibar/refrigerator was not there, only an empty shell. When referring to that, he only said, "well, that's what it is", and no way to compensate with another room instead. And this, although the existence of a refrigerator was a key criteria for my booking decision. So, overall, a beautiful location, but total lack of customer service. I will certainly not repeat.
The location, away from the bustle of town. The sea breaking on the rocks beneath our window. Staff were exceptional, from reception to dining to cleaning staff - all smiling, helpful and friendly. Our room was fantastic, lots of space, comfortable bed, nice linens. The breakfast is AMAZING, a fabulous spread of sweet and savoury, including home made cakes. Great attention to detail and serving platters were replenished before they were even half empty. Good quality coffee machine. Fabulous 360 degree view of the sea. We will be back.
That we couldn't stay longer ?
The staff is very accommodating and nice.
The location is a bit far from the center and I did not have transportation and in this heat it was almost unbearable. There was no where near to get a snack after 7:00 pm.
The position of this hotel is beautiful.Lovely pool and access to the sea.Staff charming and helpful.
Nowhere to sit in the evening. Pool area closes at 7pm and the lounge bar not open.
La situation de l'etablissement
The Hotel operation :Run by three very nice elderly gentlemen from 1950.even though their hotel is fantastically well situatedBut the entire operation is charming but not too profesionnal
The view is brilliant
The choices of food are quite limited and you have to be early for breakfast.
fantastic panoramic position (just over the rocks , directly above the sea) - easygoing and co-operative and kind staff - good swimming pool outdoor , just over the sea
the hotel is in a quite isolated area (about 5 min car / 15 min walk to Ospedaletti ) and 10 min car to Sanremo ) , it makes easier moving by car - no shops close to the hotel
We really loved the location and the direct access to the sea. Very comfortable platform and the seaside facilities including the swimming pool. Staff was vary friendly and kind.
There is room for improvement concerning the breakfast in terms of selection. The bathroom in our room was very small.
The view of the see from the room is stunning. It is so close that you can sleep with the sound of the sea.
Need a bit renovation, especially in the bathroom. Adding boiled egg to the breakfast would be easy and good.
