    Pros +

    • I love Hotel La Palomba. In fact, this was my second stay there. It is an extremely comfortable place to stay. Rooms are modern. Mine had a view of the Rocca Roversche (medieval fortress) across the street. La Paloma is a family owned hotel. The staff are wonderful. There is a huge and wonderful breakfast in a very pleasant dining area. The hotel restaurant is outstanding. There is a lovely pool and small outdoor garden. There is abundant on street parking half a block away. This is a great location for exploring Le Marche. I did day trips to Urbino, Assisi, and Pesaro.
    • Beautiful location, wonderful staff, lovely pool and delicious breakfast
    • Absolutely fantastic hotel. I think the best value for money I have ever experienced. The photos don't do it justice! The rooms are recently renovated and done really well. We stayed in Family room which was two separate double rooms but connected with a door inside so it was absolutely perfect. The whole place was super clean. The food was excellent. The village is also really interesting but quiet at the same time and you get a lovely view of the castle from the hotel. Will definitely come back. 10/10 for everything!

    Cons -

    • It is a lovely place to stay!
    • There is nothing we didn't like. Our room didn't have an amazing view, but it didn't bother us at all as we were out and about all day and only in the room to sleep.
    • It was all great. Location, style, people, facilities

The location is brilliant. We flew to Ancona and rented a car. It's a 35 minute drive to Mondavio so no stress is involved. Parking was super easy. Room small but perfect for our needs. The restaurant was amazing, the food is superlative and had flexible choices. We loved the pizzas in the evening too. Views incredible. Village beautiful. Staff caring and lovely. We felt instantly at home. The village is beautiful as are the surroundings so much to see and do, and we love the coast there too.

There is nothing we didn't like. Our room didn't have an amazing view, but it didn't bother us at all as we were out and about all day and only in the room to sleep.

A gorgeous little hotel in a beautiful Medieval village with super walks to observe the stunning architecture or have a coffee and just watch. The hotel has a bar, cery good restaurant and pool - much appreciated in 30 degrees. We stayed in a townhouse just opposite on 2nd floor and with cases (wedding stuff) we needed some help with the luggage! But the strong receptionist was really helpful. Breakfast is in a beautiful salon and the selection of meats, breads, cheeses, juices, cakes is huge! There for a day and night and a super location to explore this region. Loved it.

It was all great. Location, style, people, facilities

Nice modern hotel in front of Mondavio’s impressive fortifications and tower. Excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. Parking very easy to find in the immediate vicinity.

    Nothing I can think of

We had two rooms - a twin and a family. It was great that they were situated just across the hall from each other.Family room - really spacious and a nice almost separate room area for the kids with its own tv rather than just a bed next to the parents bed! Large modern bathroom Twin room - small but perfectly adequate with access to a nice terrace.Housekeeping was an excellent standard Restaurant was really good

Twin room bathroom was a little small but not a major concern

View of the castle from my room was special. Nice pool area and good buffet breakfast (

Charging for second coffee at breakfast and water in the room mini bar is a bit rich especially when small family run b&bs provide this for free! Also odd the mandatory swimming cap rule in the Marche region - really doubt it is achieving anything

    8MartinaPosted on: 8-15-2024

Location fantastic, pool area very pleasant and the restaurant was good.

The bathroom was a bit small and the shower screen/ seal cause water to escape the shower area. The hairdryer was working but insufficient. Overall the facility was nice but the bathrooms could do with a makeover.

    8FelixPosted on: 8-14-2024

The staff was very flexible and friendly, we arrived very late because of delays and they made sure we would get into our room. The place and room met expectations and what you saw online, the breakfast was simple but nice.

    10RenatoPosted on: 8-3-2024

Pool excellent, dinner excellent, breakfast excellent.Everything was PERFECT!

Well situated in front of Mondavio’s castle. Very nice bedroom and top notch bathroom. Better than some 4* hotels. The property also has a bar and good restaurant. It’s cozy with a warm atmosphere. Breakfast was ñ really good as well. They also accomodated us with a third bed for my 12 year old son for free.

Having to wear a cap at the swimming pool and the fact it closes at 19:00 already. Both days, we had to park a little further as the property does not have a own parking.

    8SeanPosted on: 5-31-2024

excellent location across from the castle, easy parking in front of the hotel. nice square with bar on the other side of the castle, and also very good restaurant, not even 5 minutes walk. room was simple and good value for money. nice breakfast room.

bathroom was small, toilet against the shower

    9KaseyPosted on: 5-26-2024

It was very nice and big. The restaurant was great. A big plus! The big balcony was nice as well.

Maybe the bathroom could have been updated a bit more.

stuff was very friendly and location was great

Room did not look like in pictures. When we booked the room, the pictures for exact room were not available, so we thoughts the pictures which are on overall listing present how the room will look like. The room was in a separate building, very small and outdated, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower was super tiny. The restaurant quality was poor as well. We ordered a pica which was not great, we hoped that in Italy it should have been way much better than in Amsterdam, which was not the case.

    9LarisaPosted on: 3-20-2024

It is very a cozy, comfortable and very clean room. Hotel is in a great location.

Breakfast is too typical Italian just with prosciutto, salami and cheese, no healthy options

    9SpellythemanPosted on: 10-23-2023

What an excellent place. Arrived later than planned and the place was buzzing with locals. Staff dealt with a problem which was our own fault. Lovely room with terrace and the proximity of the old town just over the road.

    8PeterPosted on: 9-23-2023

The hotel is in a small cute little village in the hills. It is a 3* hotel that offers great value for money.

The room is quite small but you get what you pay for.

    8DaniellePosted on: 9-16-2023

Great location in town opposite castle, lovely views across the hills. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Lovely terrace off room.

    8DavidPosted on: 8-28-2023

We liked the mountain, small town location. The restaurant was convenient and the food was great. They gave us ice from the restaurant bar. The views from the patio were excellent.

    The room was too warm.
