    Pros +

    • Great breakfast. Great view of the ocean if you get the right room.
    • Wonderful hotel to explore Poros. The breakfast was amazing and very healthy. The rooftop location for breakfast gave a wonderful view of Poros harbor. The staff were very helpful.
    • Excellent breakfast, location, water kettle in room, nice towels, loofahs, slippers, toothbrushes

    Cons -

    • Climbing up the stairs but this is to be expected in places like this and if you want a great view. Also a bit noisy in the night because of the roof top lounge that opens until late into the night.
    • Can’t think of anything
    • Depending on the room, prices can be a bit on the higher side, and the rooftop terrace has become a little crowded with too many chairs, making it feel less spacious.

This was already my third stay at this hotel – and there’s a reason I keep coming back. The rooms are comfortable and of a good standard, the breakfast is excellent and seems to get better every year. The view, especially at sunset from the rooftop bar with a cocktail in hand, is simply unforgettable.

Clean large comfortable room with more than usual amenities for a hotel of this type Amazing staff, polite, smiling and helpful Cute breakfast presentation with a nice variety, tasty and served on the rooftop with a breathtaking view to begin the dayCouldn't have asked for more!

Although we didn't mind for a short stay we would definitely have preferred a room on the upper floors of the building to enjoy the view

Very good roof garden for breakfast, with amazing view!Close to the sea and the city center.

    A little bit small rooms.

Staff prepared a large homemade breakfast for us - We also even got a free upgrade and loved it! The rooftop is like a FAIRYTALE!

Everything was exceptional!! Zero negative comments!

Very good breakfast at the top floor.

Few stairs to get to the property, but not an issue.

    10MaxinePosted on: 4-19-2025

The hotel was tastefully decorated, bed was comfortable and the staff incredibly kind.

It could be a bit loud from people coming down from the rooftop bar at night.

Overall the place is fine, and the location very convenient to the main ferry dock, but there are a few discrepancies from the advertised description. There are planter boxes, not a garden, surrounding the property. The veranda is under construction and there are no meals available. The hot tub wasn’t in evidence. There was a pleasant person to check is in but no staff on site for advice in English.

we were there for one night… Found a comfortable bed and room that was very clean beautiful view from the room… Take note there is no parking at this hotel and there is no lift, it is uphill with stairs.

Very good value for money. I took the entry price room and it was pretty big, clean, had a balcony in a hotel well located next to the harbour

Good location.Nicely decorated & spacious room and bathroom (Suite with City View).

The hotel was operating in an off-season mode, which is perfectly understandable but this should have been clearly stated upon booking. There were a number of issues associated with that, which overall disappointed us: - On Booking it appears that the reservation includes breakfast, but when we asked at the hotel we were told that there was no breakfast available. Similarly, on Booking the check-out time appears to be 12:00, but the information provided at the hotel said 11:30 instead.- There were some lights in our room and bathroom not working (some didn't even have lightbulbs adjusted), and the phone in the room was also not working.- The hair dryer was outdated and worn out, not good enough to dry anything at all. I had to sleep with my hair wet, which caused me neck pain.- One of our body towels had dark stains. We only noticed this when we had to shower late at night, and with no one around we had to wait until the next morning and share one towel with my partner in the meantime.- One day after the noon, there were works with drills taking place on the floor above us which resulted in very loud noise, to the extent that we had to leave the room.- Finally, the key was left on the front door throughout the night, which is not safe. Each room should have their own key for the front door instead.

Dimitra hotel was charming, clean, and close to the port town!

    Great view, quiet location.

Many steps, but worth it for the view!

    8JialiPosted on: 3-3-2025

very nice view from the room, staff was friendly

The staff was not there when we want to check out, and we don't feel safe leaving our bag at the reception desk when there was no one there

    4GlennPosted on: 2-28-2025

The water view from the room was the best thing. The Receptionist/housekeeper assisted me in getting my bags to the hotel. There is a lift, which is uncommon for a hotel of this size. The bed was comfortable.

Getting up to and from the hotel was a feat of endurance! The maze of rough laneways of alarming inclines, culminating with a skinny laneway less than a metre wide, needed a guide (Katerina) to get you there. At night, if you wanted to go into the main restaurant area, negotiating the way down to the main road, parts in darkness, was hazardous if you are not surefooted.I am certain that lone females would feel quite unsafe with the lack of lighting and secluded pathways.Regarding the room (no. 32) the toilet seat lid was majorly cracked, and the bathroom door is damaged due to the middle and bottom hinges having been incorrectly fitted. The metal cover for the bathroom floor drain was detatched and moving about which was an irritant as the drain had been plumbed more or less right in front of the toilet. (thoughtless design).Lastly, for whatever reason, the key to the hotel entry is left in the lock permanently. Anyone could walk in and through the hotel. An unacceptable security risk, especially since the hotel in unstaffed for most of the time.I would recommend that if you are not in peak fittness and looking for a challenge, or would be concerned with personal safety issues you look elsewhere for your Poros vacation.

Very nice and clean room in central Poros, comfortable beds. I received a very warm welcome and was given a free room upgrade. The price was also lower than in other accommodations for my dates, so everything was perfect. Can surely reccommend and will re-book if I ever go to Poros again
