the location- quieter than Punta Cana- and right on the beach.

Too many inflexible rules! Much of the staff was cold and unfriendly. Hotel screwed up my transportation reservation. I booked this hotel for the catamaran and windsurfers. Never got on a windsurfer and had only a 5 minute catamaran ride.

It is a beautiful location. The beach is great and there is everything you need. I really liked the baby cats and dogs at the beach. The gym was also well equipped. They have fresh water stations everywhere which was great.

With just a few tweaks this place could easily become better: the rooms are super loud mainly because the doors to the rooms close very loudly. Also, you can hear everything that is spoken outside because of badly isolated doors and the staff is talking non stop on the floor. The food is typical for an all-inclusive hotel. Not great but also not terrible. We saw a massive change over the weekend. A lot of locals came to the hotel and the food became worse. Also, it would be great if they focus the animation on one side of the hotel so that it is not annoying the guests that don’t want to join.

If I could leave no stars, I would. We arrived and Front Desk told us our room was ready. We get to the room and our key cards do not work. I walked back to Front Desk who reprogrammed my key to walk back and it still did not work. I walk back a 2nd time to be told they would send an engineer to investigate. He was able to open the door with his key as well as housekeeping. It took FOUR HOURS with security and maintenance to finally get the keys to work. In that time, we were asked to walk back and forth from the room to the front desk 5 times. We asked to have our room changed and were ignored. We asked to speak to a manager and they refused. We asked for compensation and were denied. Most of the staff had no sense of urgency or sense of HOSPITALITY. Hector, the engineer, was the only one who would advocate for us to the rest of the staff. The restaurants that needed reservations were difficult to reserve. We did end up getting reservations and each time the restaurant was more than half empty. The food in general was subpar at best. In the buffet, dishes were dirty, staff would drop food, pick it up and put it right on people’s plate. We witnessed bugs in drink machines, the staff would scoop it out and continue serving. There was a separate pool with a swim up bar filled with little kids throwing soda and other drinks inside the water.There was no functioning wifi the entire stay. The sports bar didn’t have any functioning TV’s. The sheets in the room were extremely musty. The shower would allow water to soak the floor. By day 3 there was an infestation of ants in our room.. although we never ate or had food in the room. They were all over our shoes and backpack. I have bites on my ankles! I could not get out of there fast enough.

Limited food, not to many options. beverages and premium alcohol not included, It expect that a hotel with this type of facilities offers premium food and drinks.

Meet and clean

Some of the staff (not all) weren’t service oriented (in the Buffett. The food was good (not great), but my expectations could be a bit higher than the media. Since I bought this through an offer, I think it was worth what I paid (not worth the original cost).

The beach is absolutely perfect – the best we’ve ever been to.The hotel itself is beautiful, pleasant, and clean, with a wonderful entertainment team that is creative and truly puts in a lot of effort.

It is feeo like the hotel is in its early stages, and not everything works as it should. The food was unfortunately not tasty, and the dining area was disorganized and messy. The quality of the alcoholic drinks was also disappointing.Some of the staff members were absolutely lovely and eager to help, but others seemed untrained in providing good service.
