Hotel Zonne

A smaller more personal family run hotel, which has been extensively refurbished in recent years - the decor is really nice, the staff friendly and the room was comfortable and quiet. Peaceful location a short walk from the beach and we were able to rent bikes from the hotel and got around the town easily - we'll certainly stay with Zonne again - happy with everything, the restaurant does a nice breakfast and the dinner menu is limited, but very decent fare - recommended

Comfy beds, nice breakfast, close to the beach.

Not enough parking places, so we parked on the street (which gets busy in the morning). Very steep steps to second floor, so if you have troubles walking, take rooms at lower floors. The room extremely small, difficult to move around when there is 3 people.

Location,staff and service was amazing.We had adjacent rooms with pur friends and a balcony to enjoy:-)

The stairs to the upper floors are very steep with small threats. Would be a problem for older and handicapped people. Rooms and bathroom was also quite small Next time we would choose rooms on the main floor .

A wonderful beach holiday! The interior, location and staff were all amazing. We loved spending time at the hotel- it has a relaxed beach holiday vibe. The garden is lovely and the well-considered hotel interior design is well coordinated with the garden design.

We would have liked some lunch options- like a salad. An issue was a lack of drying rack or anywhere where to dry beach towels and swimwear. We asked for a fold-out drying rack, but the property did not have it. A clothing line or a drying rack for shower would be great.

Nothing! Except beware steep stairs - particularly with large luggage. Otherwise ideal hotel

The hotel is small and cosy and very near to the beach. Staff is friendly and the beds are excellent. The room was not very big, but it provided all the comfort we needed. The breakfast was wonderful, not super elaborate, but very tasty.

The diner options were limited, but that wasn't really an issue since there are numerous restaurants in walking distance of the hotel.

Elegant hotel in a residential part of Noordwijk, 5 min walk to the beach, 10-15 walk from the restaurants and bars area. The hotel operates its own restaurant and bar. Nicely decorated and quiet rooms, simple but efficient facilities. It's a pleasure to sleep with an open window and listen to the music of the wind. Cold breakfast buffet and coffee of good quality with warm options (eggs, toasts...) on demand. Courteous and helpful staff. I stayed there several times and always come back with pleasure.

Everything is simple but comfortable: room, bathroom etc. Breakfast is simple, but OK. Pleasant atmosphere.

The only tricky thing is the small number of parking spaces.

Breakfast was rather poor and less enjoyable towards end of the week. Kitchen staff was realy good but limited. Room attendands were not as good. Receptionist was not often seen.

Reception has to collect information about state of customers! We are both over 60 and with medical condition. I am diabetic 2, my wife has ankle replacement with titan one. We were placed in Room 20 (I would suggest you to go and see the premises on person). Narrow staicases up to the top and then half flight down to the attachment! No help with luggage, no elevator to get up there! Yes, we were proudly presented with a balcony what due to the bad weather was useless. Plastic chairs were floating like goasts until I took one in (as only 1chair provided for two of us), no TV or radio in the room. Toilet seat not properly fixed, mould in the shower area. On Wednesday bin was not emptied. Total of 27 rooms but only 10 parking lots for visitors with very limited space. Not a place marked for disabled. Yes, 2parkings for electric vehicles provided with a charger. Again, go and see yourself! It is so close to Amsterdam! Forgot to add that balcony door was a whistler 3 nights out of 5. Not adjusted, not sealed! Curtains fom wind were moving as in horour film i have a video on camera to prove it! Back to the stairs now. Carpets on stairs are totally worne out. Have pictures too... bad, very bad.

Breakfast is great and the location not too far from the beach. The decoration of the hotel is cute and the hotel is very clean.

I don't advise taking the single rooms. They are way too small to enjoy spending any time in it. The bathroom was taking half the size of the room. Also, the window seal was not functioning properly and it was cold in the room. Last, lots of stairs and not easy stairs to take your bags up...

Super nice breakfast room with bar for the evenings. Very cozy and tasteful interior.In the evening we were allowed to use the dining room to play cardgames and have drinks from the bar.Our room was very tiny but had everything we needed.For people who can’t sleep on soft mattresses (like me) the bed was not good. But the rest of my group who had the same kind of mattress slept very good.Just good to know of you have a problem with that.The location close to the beach and in a beautiful neighborhood was great.The staff was always friendly and helpful if we had any questions.Thank you!

Even though the individual room was small, it was well designed and pratical. Breakfast was very good. Hotel is very well located.

Bed a bit too soft. Individual room is a bit overpriced.

Lovely style and close to the waterfront

The main stairs were very narrow and steep, the double bed was too small and there no bedside tables. The bathroom was very cramped as was the room

The breakfasts were excellent and we had one dinner in which was very good indeed.

Our room was slightly difficult to access being up several flights of stairs.

nice location, you can hear the ocean from the room. breakfast is included but very basic.

the bathroom was very smelly as it had no extractor fan. the room was also poorly ventilated as you could only open the windows a little bit. rooms are small and on top of each other so you can hear your neighbours opening and closing doors. its a fine stay for one night but wont recommend staying here for more than one night.
