Beautiful rooms decorated in art deco style with really nice touches such as complimentary soft drinks and snacks, delicious breakfasts and friendly staff. Amazing location on the promenade within walking distance of bars and restaurants. The restaurant serves delicious food.

Could be quite noisy with the wind rattling through the windows but this is a minor point.

Attention to detail and all the little extras, huge spacious room with excellent bathroom, fabulous location, lovely friendly staff

Outstanding - best hotel in Douglas. Friendly knowledgeable efficient and helpful staff. A special thanks to Lucas, MaryAnn, Pradeep, Peter plus the cleaning ladies Zanna Waiesa and Ana. Who all went above and beyond to make our stay there so enjoyable.

There was nothing not to like at the Halvard.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Could not fault it , staff were excellent helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful, it was my birthday and they had decorated the room which was a lovely surprise. Fantastic location, walking distance to ferry to . Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed four nights with my partner while visiting friends on the Island. Room was great, nice comfy bed, very nice bathroom. Staff were amazing, very kind and helpful; cleaners were also very nice and did an excellent job. Breakfast was fantastic and we made the most of it every day. Great location, very easy bus from the Airport to Douglas. At checkout we were visiting a friend down the other end of the promenade and asked reception for a taxi, he said the Taxi would take a while to come so he would just give us a lift; extremely kind and helpful, going the extra mile. We loved our stay here.

The hotel decor was lovely. The room was very spacious, with LED strip lighting. Which was a nice touch. They were also immaculate. With a coffee set up and nice treats in the mini fridge.

The only issue was that it was very windy when we stayed. Guests kept leaving the main door open, and the wind did howl through. Which I do understand was out of the hotels control. They have done their best with the windows and even supplied ear plugs.

Hotel needs some TLC for example tape round some windows curtain’s in the room not hung right we asked about lighting in the bathroom as 2 lights where out so it was dark but they didn’t get replaced , a member of staff outside on the hotels steps smoking

The choice was satisfactory, the quality was good and the service was exceptional. The dining room is small but adequate, with swift and courteous service.

Breakfast was good had it in room on 2 occasionsboth Lucas day front of house and Marianne evening front of house could not have been more helpfulour room had great views over the sea

hotel policy not to turn toll rail on in bathroom was a little chilly in that room the room's safe was on the floor not easy to program

Clean, tidy, food well presented and tasty. WiFi good.

Not so much a dislike but a coffee machine in the room would be great

From the moment I arrived, everything about my stay was flawless. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Check-in was quick and effortless, and I was immediately impressed by how clean, elegant, and beautifully maintained the hotel was.My room was immaculate, spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every comfort I could imagine. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were luxurious, and I slept better than I have in ages.Location is perfect aswel. Amazing breakfast.Would highly recommend

I fell in the bath and have bruised myself badly. I was stuck for 5 hours. Please could you consider some form of grab rail?

The location was ideal, and the rooms were spacious.
