    Centrally located. Nice staff.

Extremely noisy both nights. A party somewhere that went on till 5am. Next night, loud talking/party until 2am. Pigeons nesting somewhere making noise. (3rd floor).Toilet required muliple flushes to work properly. Extremely annoying.small claustrophobic lift. Very narrow corridor.

Location and bay window looking out at sea. Kettle and sofa in room. Bike storage was brilliant and housekeeping was good.

No fresh fruit for breakfast and limited cereals.

Location on the waterfront, quality of bed and bedding and towels, and PG Tips and milk in the roomWonderful singer at night in the lobby

It's an old property, with lots of staircases and annexes and fire doors. The halls look like a dormitory. But my room was quiet and very nice.

    Central location.

The hotel is very tired and the corridors running to the rooms on each floor are very tight and utilitarian. The restaurant and its staff are quite low calibre. But you get what you pay for and the accommodation, whilst basic, was good value.

Spacious room. Windows that open and have a great view; especially the bay window.

We could hear the crosswalk beeping and traffic. For the quiet area, it’s rather noisy. Hard to sleep. Needed the windows open for fresh air and it too warm in the room. So we were torn between fresh cool air vs quieter.

The older lady and gentleman who were working reception when we arrived were very helpful and friendly, perfect hosts. The staff in the breakfast room were also very pleasant and efficient, we received our coffee pots and teapots very quickly when we were seated each morning. The breakfast bar itself provided a generous choice of hot and cold foods, it also had a very efficient toaster. Our large bedroom room had a great view of the promenade. Good water pressure in the shower.

    Location good, comfortable bed.

A faulty shower mixer meant that I couldn't have a warm shower. Over a 4-night stay this is unacceptable. I informed staff of the issue from the get-go but nothing was done about it. I wasn't offered an alternative room, an alternative room to grab a shower in, any form of apology or compensation. The duty manager said they tested the shower during the day whilst I was out and it was hot. So hot, in fact, that the housekeeper had to pull their hand away quickly... this is a bare-faced lie. I have asked them to come and check the shower temperature whilst I am in the room but my invitation hasn't been accepted. They are banking on it being 'my word again theirs' if I make any form of claim.

Breakfast was fabulous (fried bread was better than my own!!!!) The location was perfect, walk across the promenade to the beach- and a radius of 5 minutes walking distance from pubs, clubs restaurants. The staff did a magnificent job too!

Nothing to do with the hotel but parking is generally a problem on the IoM. This is not because of a lack of space but the ridiculous disk system that the Island run - brilliant in concept but in practice, not practical.

The staff was amazing. Friendly and kept left luggage when our flight got delayed due to weather.

    Amazing location on the prom.

Great hotel with a perfect location. The staff were amazing. Great fun and really helpful. The breakfast was good too

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable

Lovely position on the sea front. Lift to upper floors. Nice lounge and dining room overlooking the sea. Located next to bus stop for access to other parts of the island.

The corridor upstairs narrow and some unavoidable short flights of stairs. Standard room looks onto walls but did have the advantage of not being overlooked.

Staff were excellent, especially the gentleman on reception when we checked in. Very helpful and friendly, as we're the staff at breakfast.

Better selection of tea/coffee in the room would be nice. Info in the room about breakfast times and WiFi would also be helpful

    7GrahamPosted on: 4-27-2025

Good room, clean and all we needed to be comfortable. Breakfast offering was very good too.

Staff were not all engaging, cleaning plates away before we had all finished and not always welcoming. Our room was above an alley at the back of the hotel which the staff must use as a smoking area so we heard all conversations from 7am on most mornings. Some of these were not appropriate to overhear. When checking out the reception staff hardly spoke to us.
