Ascot Hotel

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and reasonable in price. It was so quaint.

Large bedroom and bathroom, extremely clean. Not a new building but perfect for what I needed. Everyone at reception was fabulous

Location was great and staff was lovely and was not that expensive either I would stay hear again

Comfortable, clean, food was amazing and staff were really accommodating.

Some floors were squeaky, but was only a problem as I’m a light sleeper.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Ascot. Wonderful staff who were always friendly and cheerful and couldn't do enough for you and it was great to meet Norman the owner who is a very nice guy. If I need to stay in Douglas again I will be staying at the Ascot again.

The two flights of narrow stairs to my room!Also, this is not the hotel's fault - the floor in my room was really uneven!

We had a family room, which was effectively two linked rooms and there were two TVs. Lots of space. We had a view down to the sea and it was a good location just behind the promenade. Breakfast was good with a buffet selection combined with a cooked to order cooked breakfast. Good value for money, would recommend.

over rated,receptionist is not professional and helpful.the heating is set for strange hours,no heating night time,but in the daytime.the cleaner left the towers and room refillment stuffs on floor outside the room small tv

Excellent staff, always very friendly and willing to help, Clean and tidy rooms and an excellent breakfast. Meals in the hotel were excellent.

The bathroom was great! The room was warm, comfortable and plenty of space to store your belongings. The view was amazing !

The staff we.re great, helpful, friendly, and full of information that made our stay more enjoyable. The breakfasts were fresh and plentiful, and the evening meals were varied, with a different selection each night.

Except for the furniture being somewhat "retro," everything else was very nice. The staffs were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious.

Nothing much to complain about. The location is not close to the sea terminal, but it doesn't bother me.
