Overall a very good stay. I picked the Hydro because of the booking ratings. welcome was excellent and Robert could not have been more accommodating. The Hydro is not a new hotel, and has that ‘well worn’ image. I have no problem with that - Robert’s recommendation for food at the Mexican restaurant in the basement was again - spot on. I had breakfast which was excellent - and very much up to the mark. It was well cooked and piping hot. Great coffee and top service. I”d happily stay again

Breakfast was great could use better sausages. Excellent choice of full breakfast ,kippers fresh fruit cereal and yogourts fruit juice ,tea and coffea. Great service from very attentive friendly staff. Went out of there way for our dog. Great internal lift doesnt go to all floors but was great for us.They do have a Mexican eatary in the basement of the Hotel sadly didnt get chance to use it but locals do say how nice it is.

Cant say i didnt like anything just that the decor is tired could do with freshing up. Could do with more information about the parking prior to arrival and access to a parking disc that you must have and display wherever you park.

The Hydro Hotel is set in an ideal location right opposite the sea front. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It says evening entertainment there wasn't it was part of reason booked it ,parking awful i understand the motorbike grande pre was on also the shower was too small to get in were in our 70s my better half is a big msn we made do with all over wash ,I strip beds before leaving always have done the duvets were mucky round edges and a big stain on under sheet not nice ,will give them 10 uot10 for clean towels ,the price paid was not worth it £560 is a lot of money to pay even breakfast was warm not hot

The room was very warm at night with little ventilation, just one window which would tilt open a couple of inches.

Fantastic location,Awsome Mexican down stairs,friendly staff and clean rooms lovely place to stay

Furniture was a bit dated and room could do with freshening up. Breakfast was a bit on cold side and over cooked.

Breakfast was good with the normal staple choice of food,and catered for allergies etc.

Hotel was nice

The room was very small for what I paid for and no breakfast was included seeming I had same small room next door for far less money

The rooms were comfortable, the showers hot, the breakfast was great, and it was over the road from a beautiful beach. What more could you ask for?

The carpet on the first floor could possibly induce an epileptic fit, and would definitely overwhelm people on the spectrum

Friendly and helpful staff. One of our party missed breakfast and needed to eat in order to take his medication. Staff brought him cereal even though it was after breakfast closed.

The staff where friendly

The room was not quite big enough for a family of four. Was like they had just thrown a spare bed in the room. Also, a mini fridge would have been good.

With being older I just felt it was a bit far along from the main entertainment, but we solved that by getting the bus from right opposite the hotel

Staff friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and the best decaf coffee ive ever had.Needed taxi’s booking and was all taken care of by the staff.

Very comfortable, well located hotel.Close to everything. Staff were really helpful.The view in the morning over the beach is exceptional.

The carpet on the first floor. To be avoided if you are on the sceptrum, or are susceptible to sensory overload.
